Description of the Sarasota vacation villa rental

We own and privately rent a villa in Timberwoods, a small unique complex situated in south Sarasota within walking distance of the large Westfield Square mall and within easy access to Siesta Key. My wife and I are UK citizens who live in Florida for about 6 months each year. The main purpose of the Timberwoods villa is to allow our friends and family to visit us while we are in the US (we have a separate US home approximately 1 mile away) and we rent Timberwoods when they are being used by our friends and family. The decor, furnishings and facilities in the villa were chosen so that they matched the standard that we want to live in ourselves.


Timberwoods location is perfectly set out with open front gardens, large communal swimming pool, tennis courts and club house with library and indoor games facilities.

There is a modern computer (less than 12 months old)and colour printer with a 19" TFT Screen connected to a high speed internet access. This facility is mounted on a moveable trolley and can be sited anywhere in the villa.

There is a 43" TV in the main lounge and TV's in each of the bedrooms.

It is conveniently located within easy access of the beautiful gulf beaches such as Siesta Key, Long Boat Key, numerous golf courses, boating rentals and other sports facilities, restaurants, cinemas, historic areas such as Spanish Pointe and a short drive to St Armand 's Circle with its art galleries and boutiques. Downtown Sarasota is within a 15 minute drive access.


Timberwoods is a 30 minute drive from Sarasota/Bradenton international airport. Tampa airport together with the central Florida theme parks is a 60 minute drive, Orlando and Sanford International airports are each just over a 2 hour

• Deposits: a) A 20% deposit is required on booking and the balance is payable, dependent on the length of the booking, either 42 or 60 days prior to occupancy. b) A $200 damage/breakages security is also required on making a reservation. Any damages, breakages or unreasonable cleaning requirements will be deducted from this deposit which will be refunded within 7 days of your departure, after the villa has been inspected. It will also be refunded immediately if the reservation is cancelled c) Cancel
   
• Other Fees: Timberwoods Association which administers the complex requires you to register with them in the clubhouse on your arrival. On registering they will charge you $40 which registers you and your vehicle for the length of your stay. This is a direct payment to them for security and administration purposes. If you have more than one vehicle while occupying the villa, they will charge an additional $15 per vehicle
