Executive Home with Water Park close to Everything (#28662)

Write a review We had a great time hosting our Theatre troupes Winter Retreat here... The house was very well kept and the company that we went through (Savannah Rental Homes) was awesome too... Thanks Darlene, we had a blast... This house was wonderful! Perfect setup for 4 couples. We had my daughter's wedding in Savannah and this was so convenient and easy to commute. The pictures turned out georgeous with the beautiful furnishings in the house and it was large enough for the bridesmaids to participate in dessing the bride! The beds are very comfy and the kitchen well stocked! my family stayed here for 3 days, we came from Ohio, SC, and Colorado so we thoroughly enjoyed the large house to hang out. We did a lot of our own cooking, the kitchen is very well supplied. We found the place very clean, neat and accommodating! We spent time in Historical Savannah during the days and it did take about 20 minutes to get there, longer if the traffic was bad. HOSPITALITY is the one word I would use to describe the people of Savannah and the home in which we stayed. We were a little concerned at first when we arrived and the house was not ready to receive guests. However, one phone call and an immediate response came. In the time it took us to go to the grocery store the problem was resolved. I find it comforting to know if you experience a small problem the owner is proactive in bringing about a resolution. Beautiful house and they think of everything, from inner tubes for the lazy river to fishing poles for the pond, dvd's of movies filmed in Savannah, fully stocked kitchen, and clean bathrooms and comfortable bed. We shared this home with our adult children and there was plenty of room for everyone. We are ready to go back to Savannah and back to that house. Beautiful house and extremely well fitted out. Absolutely everything provided. Stayed with my wife and two boys and had a great time. Used the pool most days (maximum number in the pool was 3, and that includes me). Savannah was great, enjoyed the history and the riverside fun - we saw lots of alligators in the local wildlife reserve (even a small snake. Thanks again to the owner for providing a great base for our hoiday. 100% recommended. Stayed at this beautiful house a week ago and it was really lovely. It is so well equipped there is nothing that we can fault it on. We had 4 adults and 4 children staying there and we had plenty of room with everyone. There was beach toys for the children and beach chairs for the adults - which made the day out a Tybee Island great. We didn't have any problems with the pools - in fact at times we were the only ones in there - granted to use the water slides there did have to be a community board member there to turn on the jets and open up the slides for use but there was a member on site for us when we wanted to use the slides. Both pools were well kept and clean and we had a great time cooling off in there! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this house to anyone - it was immaculate and beautifully furnished (we loved the reclining sofas while watching the TV!) Great visit to Savannah and we will be back! The house was great, comfortable, and well supplied. We did not want for anything. We did have trouble with getting to use the water park, slides only ran for one day and we had to staff the entire time. There was some question as to whether we were even allowed to use the swimming area at all, due to be renters. Do check this out before going. Despite this, we had a great vacation. Would recommend the house as good place to stay, just don't count on the water park. My family and I really enjoyed our stay! We could not have asked for a more perfectly sized or located retreat. The home had everything we needed. I would recommend this home to anyone who wanted to have a quiet, relaxing vacation! We had a wonderful time. Plenty of room for our 3 adult children. Beds were very comfortable! Enjoyed the fire place (took the chill off). Only suggestion, get a new can opener. First time in Savannah (loved it!) Our stay at this house in the Rice Hope location was outstanding. We came to the Savannah area to greet my youngest son who came home safely from a 14 month tour in Iraq. And we were striving to locate a house that accomodated our needs for 4 bedrooms in a convenient location and one that was in a safe and clean environment. This exceeded our expectations. It was very important to have a common room ( the living/family room)where we could all 'hang out' as a family and spend some good time together. Having the fully equipped kitchen was an enormous plus as well. I highly recommend this as a good place to stay in the Savannah area. My women's group used this home in December for a retreat. It was perfect. The house is a great size. The furnishings are beautiful. The neighborhood is wonderful too. We had everything that we needed from toiletries, kitchen items, and linens to an assortment of movies and board games. Oh, and the beds were sooooo comfortable. The reservation process was easy too. I HIGHLY recommend this home as I intend to use it again in the summer. This was a great rental home for our family. My wife and I are from the Atlanta suburbs and our other family members were from North Carolina. This rental provided us a central location to meet as well as being close to Savannah.The rental was as advertised;clean,stocked and a nice neighborhood. We were unable to watch any movies in the living room because the dvd player did not work. The TV in the master bedroom did not work because it kept loosing the satalite signal. Way too many remotes without step by step instructions. Need to simplify the use of the tv, dvd, and satalite use. Need universal remotes with step by step instructions. We had a great time in this home. It was well decorated and close to downtown Savannah which is where we spent most of our time. The only thing we had a problem with is the television in the livingroom and the television in the master bedroom. I wish there were instructions since they have so many remote controls. The upstairs bedrooms did not have televisions. Would definetly recommend this home. It accomodated our large family very well. The pool are is nice-even though the slide was closed and the kids were mad about that. The pool is about a mile from the home but the walk was very nice. We really enjoyed the lake-we saw lots of turtles and even and ALLIGATOR!! Would definetly stay again if ever in Savannah. Very nice modern home in an excellent location. A minute walk to the lake (excellent fishing)and 15 minutes from downtown Savannah. 45 minutes to Hilton Head. Pool area very nice, and not crowded at all. We enjoyed our stay very much and would consider this home again when we return to Savannah. This home was a very nice place to stay with your family for a week. Lots to do. Swimming, fishing, visit Savannah, and go to the beach. The only thing is that the pool is a mile walk. We drove our car up to the pool. Also, the lake is not as close to the home as it seems like in the picture. Altogether, it was a very nice place to stay. I would definitely recommend it. I would highly recommend this home for anyone interested in staying the Savannah area. The home was perfect for a two family visit. The waterpark and trails were very enjoyable. It was close to many of the areas we visited including downtown Savannah as well as the beach. I am hoping to plan another vacation in the Savannah area and will definately try to rent this home again. I highly recommend the home. It was not only beautiful, the floor plan was very convenient. The children could go to sleep upstairs, while the adults stayed downstairs. The waterpark was a big hit also. Would definitely go back. This home is beautiful. All amenities are included. The home is situated in a community which includes a small waterpark, lakes and walking trails. Everything we needed was included. I will stay in this home again when I return to Savannah. We had a problem with the t.v. being hooked up wrong by previous guest, but the owner was very helpful and we got that resolved quickly. We had a great trip and it was close to everything but not right in the middle of a big town. Our Company had a month long project their in Savannah. Had several people staying in the house. Very clean, Nice place to come to after a long day of work .wireless Internet was nice,Great amenities. Excellent choice for corporate housing We really enjoyed our stay at the home in Rice Hope. It's nice to have a home away from home to stay in while on vacation and let the kids have their own room. The water park is a nice feature, go to the beach in the morning and relax at the pool in the afternoon. Well worth the price. Our girls' spring fling destination was Savannah, GA. We've started trying to vacation rental properties wherever we go. I was very skeptical of this property at first; it just looked too good to be true. It was a beautiful home and an extremely reasonable rate...what was wrong with it? NOTHING! Everything posted on this site is true. It was accessible to everything yet allowed us privacy and comfort after a long day of sightseeing. The owner was a pleasure to work with also. I highly recommend this home! We had a group of 8 adults that stayed in the home in April and we loved it! It's a beautiful home with all the amenities. We could have used 1 more chair with the dining table though, since we enjoyed eating a few meals together and playing cards in the evening. No other complaints! It was in a good location to get into Savannah and for day trips to Beaufort and Tybee Is. Thanks so much. You can't go wrong with this rental. Stayed for 1 week last of July. House very nice. The bed were very, very comfortable. Nice set-up. Very clean. Beautiful decoration. Lots of space. Very nice pool area. Lake within walking distance for fishing or picnic. Close to the beaches(Tybee & Hilton Head Beach), downtown Savannah. We even went up to Charleston to see the sites. Will rent again. Reasonably price.

In response to the guest comment regarding Remote Controls - We do offer instructions for both the televisions. The living room instructions are located on the shelf of the coffee table for each device, TV, DVD/VCR & Satellite Dish. The Master Bedroom instructions are in the top drawer of the night stand. Only one remote is actually needed for each television (universal remote)and that is the Dish Network Remote that is clearly marked.
