Description of the Savannah vacation home rental

This light filled historic home was totally restored and updated in 2006.
Built in 1896 in the Beach Institute Neighborhood, the house features heart of pine floors, tall ceilings, 3 fireplaces and a private courtyard and two off street parking spaces. Private off street parking is a BIG plus when you are staying in the Historic District.
Kitchen has all the modern conveniences needed to whip up a gourmet meal and then dine on fine china!!
Ground floor has living room with working fireplace, dining room with seating for 8 with a working fireplace, large kitchen/keeping room that overlooks the private courtyard with a flat screen TV for keeping up with the world - should you decide to...Courtyard is gated and has a private entry from parking area.
There is also a half bath and washer and dryer on the ground floor. Keeping room will sleep one on a comfy oversized sofa/day bed.
Upstairs is a large master suite with fireplace (gas logs with remote) and a large master bath with 5.5 ft claw footed soaking tub and separate shower.
The second bedroom opens onto hall which has a full bath with tub/shower combo.
Both bedrooms feature comfortable beds with premium linens.

Area Information

The Lufburrow House is located in the Historic District near Forsyth Park and is convenient to restaurants, museums, natural grocery and shopping.
It is just 1/2 block from Whitfield Square which features a lovely gazebo surrounded by restored Victorian homes.
Also convenient to the home is a dog park for you four legged friend and Forsyth Park for strolling or running.
There is a major chain grocery store a few blocks away, a great wine store also within walking distance.
At the south end of Forsyth Park is a healthy alternative grocery, coffee shop - both with eat in or take away foods.
No car??? There is a bus stop and trolley stop across from the House.
