The beach and area are outstanding for swimming, walking, surfing, and boating. There are spectacular views of Stratton Island, Shooting Rocks, and Black Point.

The twin lighthouses at Two Lights State Park, sought by artists and visitors, and a national bird sanctuary are biking distance.
