Pristine 3 bdrm. home on Scarborough River overlooking 2,000 acre Scarborough Marsh Nature Preserve. Direct access to the river, bay, swimming and boating; 2 car garage. 3 private decks. Herb garden. Heaven for fishing (stripers/blues), canoeists, kayakers & nature lovers. Bird lovers, in particular, will love the house as Scarborough Marsh is one of the major stopping off places for migrating birds. No pets. No smokers. Near sandy beach. Jaw dropping views. Includes 2 TVs w/cable, Stereo, Internet, DVD, Fully applianced kitchen, gas grill, washer/dryer, canoe and more. Cleaning included. immaculately cared for. Deposit required. Rates quoted for 2006. Nothing less than one week accepted except in June. Two week minimums preferred with preferential rates for month or longer

The house is about 15 minutes south of Portland, a major cultural and entertainment center in Maine that's packed with great restaurants and entertainment options. Pine Point beach is less than a mile away and runs about 10 miles around Saco Bay to Biddeford Pool. Also nearby are Ferry Beach, Prouts Neck and Scarborough Beach State Park

The house is on the water's edge of a peninsula where three rivers meet before opening up into Saco Bay bordered on one side by Prouts Neck and Pine Point on the other. Views are of the Scarborough River, Scarborough Marsh to the west and north with Mt. Washington in the distance and Ferry Beach and Prouts Neck to the east.

• Required Stay: 2 week minimum in summer; Some flexibility on days depending on prior tenant
   
• Deposits: 50% required at time of rental agreement signing; 50% due before move-in date; $500 security deposit taken as check and held during stay. Assuming no damage other than normal wear and tear, check is returned within two weeks of move out if not before.
   
• Other Fees: Holiday weeks have higher rates.
