Description of the Scarborough vacation villa rental

Luxurious oceanfront estate with over an acre of land on Grand Beach in Scarborough. 5600 square foot home with Ten bedrooms, five & half baths, sleeps 22 comfortably.With over an acre of land and private pool you can feel secluded if you want.

Large living room with floor to ceiling fireplace, and a wall of glass facing the ocean. Gourmet kitchen with commercial appliances, opens to living room, and has room for eight at the counter bar.

Formal dining room faces ocean, and sits ten to twelve. Game room has full bar, pool table,foosbal, big screen TV, and plenty of comfortable furniture to spread out on.

Outside is well landscaped with 20x40 heated in-ground swimming pool(Open Mid May-Sept), with outdoor shower, six person hot tub, large lawn, and private path to the beach. Separate sandy playground for kids has wooden playset with swings, slides, and a rock wall.

The decks, and pool area have three large teak tables for outdoor dining, and plenty of lounge chairs at the pool. The beach is a seven mile sandy level beach running from Pine Point to Old Orchard Beach, Camp Ellis

Area Information

The house is an area of Scarborough called Pine Point. The area has alot of Luxury Ocean Front Homes and the local fishing coop is just down the road. We are 10 miles from Portland Maine. Portland Maine was voted the second best city in the nation for the number of resteraunts per capita behind Seattle Washington. We have several water parks, gof courses, outlet shopping etc within 10 miles.

Fun reunion

November 14, 2010

Wow - what a great place for a family reunion - very large group of people and we never felt crowded because we were spread out over three levels. House offers everything - large open gathering spaces with decks and amazing views, gourmet kitchen, recreation room, beautiful bedrooms. Outside is spectacular with pool area, landscaped lawn, playground for the kids, and gorgeous beach. We loved it!

The kitchen/living space is so comfortable and perfect for a large group. And all of the bedrooms are good size with full/queen/king beds. We were expecting a bunch of bunk beds!

Family Reunion Fun

Had a great time with all my family. The house has everything pool, game room, large yard, dream kitchen. The views were spectacular and the weather was great. Plenty of space for the 20 people that stayed at the house, plus we had 8 others in a house nearby. I think we found a new family favorite.

Location is fabulous for a large multi-age group or family Proximity to the fabulous beach with lovely views of the ocean are gorgeous. Heated pool (pay the extra for this)is a definite big plus and everyone loved it. We had gorgeous hot beach weather but you never know in Maine in early smmer. House has all the amenities anyone could possibly want but they are tired and i expected more from a property costing this much.

Great Family Retreat

The house was great for our group. We had 20 people 8 of which were children and the play ground and pool was just the ticket to keep them busy. The property had a lot of land and was private so you did not feel you were on top of your neighbor. Portland was only 15 minutes up the road and the restaurants were great and reasonably priced. The kitchen in the house was a cook’s kitchen and we had a wonderful time when we did cook in. I highly recommend the property to family or large groups the house has everything you need. Jim

Awsome Beach House

The house has everything. It sits directly on the ocean, huge sandy beach. The heated pool, hot tub and game room kept the adults and the kids busy. My brother loves to cook and the kitchen was a cooks dream with subzeros, thermadors etc. I loved the privacy gate yard and manicured lawn. I am definitely coming back again.
