Description of the Sciacca vacation villa rental

Casa Lucchese is a spacious Sicilian Farmhouse located at a
beautiful and breath taking rural location, approx 3 miles out of town, 6
miles from the best beaches.
The only access is a scenic private dirt driveway less than 1 mile long
worth every moment!
Casa Lucchese (240 sq.mt on two stories) is arranged with the living
quarters downstairs + one double bedroom and the other bedrooms upstairs.
The property sleeps nine people and can be taken by parties of up to 13 (collapsable cot + sofa-beds).
On the ground floor the main entrance of the house takes you directly into
the open-plan living/dining area with stone fireplace, very comfortably
furnished with rustic furniture and two large leather sofas.
To the right is a large dining room with a wooden table that comfortably
seats eight and a well designed and fully equipped kitchen stocked with
pots, pans, cutlery, glassware, coffee-pot, food processor and dishes, also
cheese graters, colanders, serving platters, salad bowls etc. Refrigerator
with freezer, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, a gas stove with an electric oven and an
adequate sink with a second dining table. The property is fully equipped for
comfortable self catering, an excellent calibre of housekeeping (including
linen, towels and blankets) is provided. Sat.TV, DVD, radio/cassette and CD player. A lobby takes you to a bathroom with shower, washing machine
(clothes are line dried, of course) and ironing board.

The downstairs area opens into the furnished terrace with sheltered barbecue and outdoor dinning area and stunning view over the small mediaeval Baglio di Lucchese.

The upstairs: under a sloping roof with exposed beams and floor boards.
A flight of steps takes you on to a large landing converted in to a
spacious study furnished with shelves, desk with computer and free internet access, sofas, keyboard.
2 double bedrooms and one triple (three single beds) with beautiful view over the valley below.
A small lobby leads you to the bathroom (with tub).
Central heating in every room + air conditioning in the upstairs study.

You are welcome to come to "Al Vivaio Verdetecnica" (3 miles) and take full advantage of
our telephone, fax, and computer facilities, borrow maps/guidebooks, as well
as use an extensive library, games and CDs (plus, of course, free access to
the Internet).

Linen, towels, welcome basket, local taxes and electricity/gas bills, end-of-stay cleaning charge are included in the rental price.

The property covers an area of perhaps 10 acres all told and is surrounded
by hundred hectares of olive groves and has sweeping views of the Sicilian
hinterland.
The area is extremely quiet and peaceful with stunning views of rolling
countryside, remote enough that you rarely hear any noise but the sounds of
the birds chattering.
there are excellent walking opportunities in the hilly countryside (by the way, there are almost no fences here and the farmers encourage you to go where you like).
