Description of the Scituate vacation home rental

We have a furnished three bedroom colonial just down the street from Sand Hills Beach. The house a three season front porch with a nice sitting area, a livingroom with a fireplace, a washer, dryer, dishwasher, central a.c, and forced gas hot air. We are close to the harbor where you can enjoy nice restaurants, movies, bowling, shopping and more. This is a perfect location for families. Sit and relax at the beach all day or go on day trips to Boston (45min), or to Cape Cod (45min). There is something for everyone. We are also out of the flood zone so you will not have to worry about ocean storms. The house was recently renovated and has a new roof and siding.

Scituate Light House is a mile down the road. This is a great walk or bike ride for kids. Sand Hills Beach is located at the end of the street(short walk). Even though this is a public beach there is no public parking so there is never a crowd. The harbor is close by and has something for everyone. The new commuter rail is within 5 miles. We rent weekly in the summer and monthly in the winter for $1300 a month.

This vacation home was all of the above! We were fortunate to have stayed here during the best week, weather wise, of the summer so far.Every day was a beach day and we walked to the Harbor area each morning for our Dunkin Donuts' fix. There is also an ice cream stand less than 1/2 mile from the cottage which the kids loved. The central air came in handy on the muggy days and nights, although most evenings had a cool breeze. The beds were comfortable and having a washer + dryer here was so convenient! We will most likely rent here again. I highly recommend this property.
