Perfect property for our family retreat

This property and cabin was perfect for our family retreat. It was clean, tidy, and well-stocked. It was great to have something in the area like this. We all had fun. Thank you so much!

Beautiful cabin with an amazing view!
August 11, 2014
We spent a week at this cabin and had a great time! It is absolutely beautiful inside and out, has plenty of space, and has an incredible view of the lake. It has beautiful features inside the home including wood floors, granite counters, and tile showers. There is a separate tub and shower in the master. There is a tankless water heater, so you never run out of hot water. There's 3 bedrooms with queen beds, a futon on the loft, and an air mattress in the closet that could be used also. The whole cabin seems to be windows, which is wonderful! There is no A/C, but plenty of fans, and it doesn't seem to get hot enough even in the middle of summer to need an A/C. We kept the windows open most of the time. The kitchen is stocked well enough, though it doesn't have everything you might need for a week of cooking. There also was no dishwasher, so plan on either bringing paper goods or spending some of your vacation washing dishes in the smaller sink on the island since the larger sink has no hot water. There was a spot for the dishwasher, so perhaps they are in the process of replacing it. There is a microwave, oven, and toaster oven. There is also a clothes washer and dryer. Outside is a fire pit with a grill that attaches or a small charcoal grill also. We had fun roasting marshmallows out there every night. The weather was perfect at night! It did rain on us half the week, but it made for some beautiful scenery. One down side is that the cabin is on the opposite side of the lake as the boat launch, so if you want to launch your boat every day, it's a little bit of a drive. You can take a truck or 4 wheelers down to the lake from the cabin though. There are plenty of off-roading trails for 4 wheelers nearby also. The basement has a little cosmetic work that needs to be done. I think at one point there was a flood and so they had to redo it. But there is a fun pool table and full bathroom down there. There is a great game table in the family room and the owners have provided a poker set. The dining room table seats 6-8. They also have provided outdoor chairs for sitting on the front deck enjoying the weather and view or out back around the fire pit. We enjoyed seeing lots of chipmunks, deer, birds, and rabbits and not very many people. It was very peaceful. We would rent this cabin again year after year.
Heaven on earth.

What a beautiful place, cabin and view. The pool table and the poker table were big hits with the whole family. We had wave runners, and four wheeler's, and there is plenty of fun everywhere, then it is nice to have a beautiful place to come "home" to after a great day of play. We will for sure be back again. I am excited to visit in the winter. Thanks so much for sharing.

My family really enjoyed staying at the sweet 16 cabin. From the awesome fishing close by at Scofield Reservoir to the beautiful country lining the ATV trails. We enjoyed every bit of it! The pictures shown does not do the cabin any justice. The cabin is warm, inviting, and comfortable. It offered everything you need for a quiet get away! Gregg was easy going and laid back to work with on any matters. My family looks forward to returning again for another quiet get away.

Our family really enjoyed this cabin. It was very nicely updated inside and had a fire pit out. We rode our ATV's and fished all day. We also had a little rain and enjoyed it on the front porch. Only downer was no barbeque, had a mini though.

This cabin was awesome!!! It had a beautiful view and the fishing was great. The kitchen was fully stocked and we were able to cook meals, just like at home. Everything was in working order and we all a had a blast! We definitely look forward to visiting again. Next time we will know that the only things we need to bring is food and fishing gear. Everything else is already there!!!

Our visit was extremely please as the weather was perfect during the day, chilly at night (but house was warm), and there was plenty to do with our 4-wheeler. The area is great for picture taking. We ran into a swarm of bugs on the way to the cabin, but luckily they were on the opposite side of the lake only and nowhere near the cabin. We highly recommend!

Good times at the Sweet 16 cabin
February 9, 2013
We spent a week at the Sweet 16 cabin and had a wonderful time. The area has lots of winter recreational opportunities. We went ice fishing, snowmobiling, snowboarding, XC skiing, and showshoeing. All within a mile of the cabin. The cabin is beautiful! Lots of wood everywhere. Everything is luxurious while still retaining the rustic feel that a cabin in the mountains should have. It is open and spacious and the fireplace kept us warm and many great conversations and toasts were had around it. The kitchen was very spacious and great for cooking, the gas range is one of the nicest I have seen. The bathrooms and bedrooms were also very nice. The views were amazing and I saw many great sunrises and sunsets over the high and flat skyline of the Wasatch Plateau. The statgazing was spectacular too! I would recommend this cabin rental to anyone. The pricing is very reasonable and the owners were great to work with. Thanks Gregg!

I stayed in this cabin with some family, and I had the experience of a lifetime. Having stayed in dozens of vacation homes and hotels across the country, this place was one of the most serene and peaceful place I have ever been. The cabin inside was very comfortable. The living space has an L shaped couch that was great for both relaxing by the fire and playing games. I stayed in an upstairs bedroom, and was very satisfied with the beds and rustic bed frames. The kitchen was incredible too, spacious enough for everyone to hang out and pitch in while cooking. The surroundings are what make this place so special. We were able to walk to the lake a matter of minutes. Since it was January when I stayed here, we snow shoed to and across the frozen lake; it was so quiet and peaceful. We were able to ice fish one day, too! This place really is a diamond in the rough. I would recommend this cabin to anyone who wants to enjoy the outdoors, simply spend some quality time with close friends and family, or a bit of both.

I stayed at this cabin with some friends in the fall. The weather was perfect and we were able to do many outdoor activities (hiking, fishing, 4 wheel ATV's). The cabin is large, comfortable, and has a great view of Scofield Lake! I would highly recommend staying here!

Awesome Lake Front Cabin
December 31, 2012
This is a spacious and well laid out cabin. There is plenty of space for 10+ people. The kitchen is gorgeous and there is plenty of space in the family room for all to gather. The location is perfect with easy access to the lake or to take a hike. Would highly recommend it to anyone!
Me, my wife, and 2 boys (15 and 17) love the cabin, but now that the boys are older, we don't get up there as much anymore because of all their activities. It seemed like it was just being wasted, so we decided to share it with others by renting.
