Description of the Scottsdale vacation home rental
While relaxing pool side or by the Kiva fireplace, you will notice our private Saguaro Cactus bed that is complemented with prickly pear cactus. The landscaping is artfully designed and is only surpassed by the all-encompassing vistas that you will see while relaxing by the pool / Kiva; just look straight ahead & you will be looking at the beginning of the beautiful McDowell Mountain Range or look to your right and you will see one of the most unusual rock formations - TROON Mountain.
During your stay in our home, experience an impeccably well maintained & clean property which is almost about 3,000 square feet of living area with everything on one floor! The luxurious 4 bedroom, 2 1/2 bathroom home offers an open floor-plan between the Kitchen, Family Room & Breakfast area. A Master Bedroom that features a private entrance to the pool area and is very tastefully furnished in a Southwestern theme has a bathroom which would typically only be found in luxury hotels. Outfitted with his and hers closets & sink areas, beautifully tiled, glass-enclosed shower, and a jet-spa tub, you may not want to leave the bathroom.
The home offers 2 additional tastefully accented bedrooms which are outfitted with queen beds. The 4th bedroom offers a single hideaway bed along with the room serving as the office, complete with high-speed wireless internet and wireless printer, office desk and credenza.
Your beautiful home is conveniently located in the most desirable section of Northeast Scottsdale, better known as Troon North (Troon Village). The area is highly renowned for its uniqueness of topography, great golf & hicking, beautiful vistas, excellent restaurants, and just wonderful resort living with a perfect climate!
Scottsdale is known for its eclectic dining and shopping, ranging from casual to fine. In addition, the charming western towns of Cave Creek and Care Free can be found a short 15 minute ride heading north. Everything you want (golf, restaurants, entertainment, ect.) is within a short 5 to 15 minutes drive.

Great place to stay in Scottsdale

If you are looking for a home to rent in North Scottsdale/Troon, this would be an excellent choice. With acres of open-plan space, this home contains taseful decor, good quality furnishings and all the amenities required for your stay combined with an outdoor pool area offering lovely views of the surrounding mountains. Owner Chris Clavin is not only house-proud, but also very 'guest-focused' and succeeds in making sure everything is exactly right for your stay. We would definitely go back.

My husband and I travel yearly to Scottsdale and Tucson. After our stay in this home, we have decided to make Scottsdale our city of choice every year and Chris's home our place to stay. There is not one negative thing I could say about this home. GREAT views, GREAT area, GREAT home...and top it off with all that Scottsdale has to offer...who could ask for more???? We hated to leave, but are planning our return!! Thank you Chris, for sharing your home. We will be back!

Excellent home and location

My wife and I stayed at the house for two weeks in August. The home is very spacious, is beautifully decorated and has excellent views of the surrounding mountain scenery. All appliances were in working order, everything was clean and the TV/ surround system is very impressive. We came over mainly to play golf in North Scottsdale and the location is perfect for that purpose.

Great Getaway

This is truly a lovely house to relax and unwind! It has all of the comforts of home but our -favorite- spot night and day was the beautiful patio area! The kids splashed in the pool all day long... and once the sun set, the kiva fireplace was the perfect spot for s'mores! To top it all off, the views are just breathtaking! Chris is an attentive host... when the DVD player wouldn't work, he had a technician out within a day.. installing a new one, to our 5 year-old's delight! We look forward to making this trip an annual tradition! Thanks Chris!

Wonderful Our home away from home

We were going to be in Arizona for 3 months so having a house that was comfortable and gave us a feeling of home was very important to us. We were not disappointed!!! From the minute we walked into ths home we knew that we were going to be very comforable. All we had to do was unpack and make a trip to the grocery store. Everything else was provided. We had a very very small issue with the TV and when we contacted Chris he was immediately on the problem until it was resolved. That was so comforting to know that if something were to go wrong we could have contact with Chris and the problem would be resolved. Whether you are staying for a short time or an extended stay like us, we would highly recommend this home. Thank you Chris for a wonderful winter vacation home.

Our Home Away from Home

Thank you Chris for allowing us to stay in this beautiful home for two weeks. It was everything we expected and far more. The pictures of the home are accurate however, to actually be there was so much more amazing. The view is spectacular and the mountains can be seen from so many different rooms within the house. The home is tastefully decorated and everything was very very clean. Our children loved the beautiful pool and especially loved the rock waterfall. We were on the go every day and coming home to this beautiful home and pool was so relaxing. Thank you Chris for sharing your wonderful home and allowing us to have a very memorable vacation. If you want more than the average house...

...this house is for you. We stayed the month of February 2011 and enjoyed every minute. The layout of the house is great but the details are unsurpassed. The home has a jetted tub, a heated pool, and every modern convenience but on a higher scale than the run-of-the-mill rental home. It's very well maintained and the owner is quick-acting to any needs. We found it very easy to adapt to all the technology of the home because the owner left explicit instructions for everything, from turning on the pool heat, to operating the television. While there are many attributes, my two favorites are the high ceilings (12' ?) and the fantastic views of the mountains that can be enjoyed from the breakfast table. Love this house! Recommended for: Age 55+, Pet-friendly, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, People with Disabilities, Romantic Getaway
