Description of the Scottsdale vacation townhouse rental

Located in north Scottsdale on Scottsdale Ranch. The town home is located in a private, gated community with heated pool, hot tub, streams and fountains run through the grounds with palm trees - very serene and beautiful. Scottsdale Ranch has tennis center with lighted tennis courts, senior center, lake, racquetball courts, squash court, sand volley ball courts, full basketball court, 2 lighted baseball fields, 6 reservable picnic ramadas and a 12-station exercise course all within two blocks.

The townhome is newly decorated with granite countertops, hardwood floors, leather furniture. Livingroom has 42 inch flatscreen with DVD and WIFI. Fully equipped kitchen, washer, dryer; dining room, garage. Upstairs has two separate bedrooms with two full walk in bathrooms and walk in closets. Master bedroom has large flat screen TV too.

Relax on the patio with palm trees and stream, while you soak up the sun. Enjoy the day at the heated pool and hot tub or take in a baseball game, fine art galleries, shopping, desert hikes or just take a nice walk around many of the paths nearby. The McDowell mountain range is just a short drive and many hiking paths.

Area Information

The complex is located in a prestigious neighborhood which has lakes and expensive homes. The Mercado shopping center is directly across the street with everything you need (cleaners, groceries, Walgreens, postal center, restaurants, salon, pet care, etc). Highway 101 (which takes you everywhere) is just five minutes away. This property is very nicely located close to everything -- casino, baseball stadiums, shopping, golf, tennis, hiking and much more!

There is a patio that overlooks some fountains and we loved sitting on the patio (which has a table and chairs with umbrella), and just enjoyed having our coffee in the morning. We even saw some humingbirds. The pool and hot tub were great and surrounding area was very tropical. We also enjoyed just walking around the neighborhood, which is very pretty. The complex is located in a lovely area in Scottsdale, close to many activities. We made use of the park nearby and hiked in the lovely McDowell Conservancy, an easy drive from the condo.There was a convenient shopping center across the street, which made getting food and sundry items easy. The rental was well prepared for our visit; every need was met. The entire property was clean and well maintained. We would certainly recommend this property to both relatives and friends. We enjoyed the facilities, pool and gym. It was a nice place to sit, read and relax. The location was convenient with shopping and entertainment just across the the street. It was within easy reach of lots of hiking trails, bike trails and golfing. Our overall experience was very enjoyable and we'd certainly rent the townhouse again..

This newly decorated condo offered a quiet setting with the gentle sounds of a water element right outside of the deck and bedroom. Talk about serenity! The owners handpicked beds which were so comfortable....what a great surprise. The kitchen offered all the necessary items needed to make your meals and the living space was fantastic after a long day of hiking. Things to do - If you are a climber, go to Camelback and sit at the top for a good cardio workout, If you like good food or great food there is no lack of places to visit. Grocery shopping can be a little costly at the Mercado mall so venture out and find Albertsons For Entertainment - As Fine Art lovers we always go to Old Town - A favorite of ours is Legacy Gallery This is just the area surrounding this condo. Take the time to explore the surrounding areas and by all means, get in a car and go to Phoenix. Sports events, theater and shopping can take a full day if you are lucky. Also, if you decide to travel out a bit go to Sedona, visit Prescott and ENJOY!"

Frequently Asked Questions

Q:Does this have two floors?

A:Yes, bedrooms are all upstairs and separated by a long hallway. Both have separate baths and closets. THe master queen overlooks a beautiful stream.

Q:Is there a place to get things for the townhome close by?

A:The townhome does come fully furnished, but you will need food and drink items. There is a Walgreens across the street in the Mercado, and A.J's is also across the street. A.J.'s is a speciality store with many wines, but they do have a bakery, meat counter, deli, coffee, and it is a high end grocery store.

Q:Groceries?

A:FRYES is my favorite store. They have EVERYTHING! They even have a bar in the middle of the store. It was all of the groceries you need, a car rental, a bakery, a huge deli, sushi bar, salad bar, a room just to sit and watch t.v., Cold Stone, Wells Fargo, florist, Starbucks, a wine cellar, tons of varieties of wines and liquor, and much more! You must visit. There are two Frye's marketplaces nearby. The largest one is on Shea and 90th.
From the town home take Via Linda West, to 90th North (right) and go about four blocks. Fryes is on left.
There is also a Safeway up Via Linda heading east.

Q:Closest Golf?

A:There are about nine golf courses nearby. Ancala is the closest. Take Via Linda East and find it just on the left side.

Q:Walking Paths?

A:Go across the street to Scottsdale Ranch park and you will find windy paths through a beautiful park and homes - very pretty.

Q:Hiking?

A:Some of the best hiking is in the McDowell Mountain Preserve. Take Via Linda east about two miles to 124th street. Watch for the sign, "Dog Wash Trail" and turn left. There are many paths, easy and difficult. BRING WATER.
