Description of the Seal Rock vacation home rental

This newly constructed 2400 sq. ft. custom built home is located in Seal Rock on the Central Oregon Coast just minutes from Newport, Waldport and Yachats. Rents as a 2 bedroom, 2.5 bath, sleeps 6. Located away from 101 hwy on a private cove with sandy beaches, big rocks and tide pools with starfish and your own private staircase to access it! This two-story home has large decks on both levels that have stunning 180° unobstructed views of beaches, rocks, ocean and great for whale watching too.

Top floor features include, two car garage, mud room, custom kitchen, half bath, vaulted ceilings throughout, gas fireplace, sectional couch with recliners, eating bar, tall table and chairs, 55” flat screen HD TV, HD satellite and Blu-Ray HD DVD player. Lower floor features an ocean view master suite with glass sliding doors on to deck, queen bed, 6’ Jacuzzi tub with ocean views, shower, 40” flat screen HD TV with HD satellite and DVD player. Second bedroom with ocean view, queen bed and full size futon, 40” flat screen HD TV with HD satellite and DVD player and a large full bathroom across hall with 6’ bath/shower. Laundry room with washer/dryer and laundry chute from upstairs mudroom.

Area Information

This house is perched over a small secluded cove with a private staircase to the beach below as well as multiple beach access points within a short walking distance. At low tide the rocks and tide pools offer amazing views of starfish, sea anemoes etc. and endless beach combing for shells and agates. During high tides and stormy weather the ocean is crashing on the rocks right off your decks.
The Whale watching is unbeatable from our decks, not to mention seals, dolphins and bird watching.

We are only a few minutes South of Newport offering, The Newport Oregon Coast Aquarium and the Hatfield Marine Science Center to mention only a sampling of nearby atractions. Crabbing and fishing await just out your front door. Waldport is only 5 minutes South with a quaint marina and small town feel. Both towns offer an amazing assortment of dining options, everthing from simple seafood fare to 5 Star Restaurants. If you would rather stay in and cook our kitchen is complete with everything you need to feel right at home.

The Best Ever!

My husband and I stayed in this beautiful home located right on the beach for a week. We did not want to go back home to the desert in Arizona. The accommodations are lovely and comfortable. Kelly and Dana have made their home a haven for relaxation with attention to almost every detail. The views are definitely indescribable---you have to be there to believe it-gorgeous from every angle.We have been to many different places, and this is by far our favorite vacation. We hope be back next October!!

How Does It Get Any Better?

From the moment we walked up to the all glass front door and saw through the house to the ocean, we were blown away. This vacation home is exceptionally well thought out. There are views of the ocean and coastline from almost everywhere in the house. The attention to detail inside and out made us feel welcomed and comfortable. Being close enough to hear the waves as we slept helped us feel like we got the most relaxing vacation we could have. We'll definitely be back.

Best House on the Beach

This is hands down, the best coast vacation I have ever had. I have stayed in many luxury rentals and this was by far the ultimate relaxing vacation. The house is immaculate, comfortable and very inviting. The views are truly phenomenal! Easy beach access, very private, perfect for every activity you could imagine. It has it all. The owners were very gracious, attentive and provided above and beyond what one would expect! I would love to return! If you are looking for a place where you can unwind and de-stress in the ultimate surroundings both indoors and out, look no further!

We had a spectacular time. This place was clean & comfortable with a great view of the beach from nearly every room. It has a great deck that I spent most of my time relaxing on. Our two boys, ages 12 & 8, loved the easy beach access. We have been coming to the coast for years and they were worried it wouldn't be as great as our last place. This was even better. If they weren't on the beach, they were enjoying the bathtub. The owners were also wonderful to work with. We had a very fun & relaxing time.

FANTASTIC VIEWS!

This is such a beautiful location, with gorgeous views throughout the home. Our daughter loved waking up with a view of the ocean right out her window. The home was so comfortable, with all the amenities, plus many conveniences that enhanced our experience. We've stayed at many rental homes and this one tops our list for cleanliness, well thought out layout, beautiful as well as functional furniture, luxurious bedding, and well supplied kitchen. Loved that the owners included binoculars and bird watching book for those evenings just enjoying the scenery. I felt like I was visiting a friend's home, not staying in a rental. Loved every minute of our stay!!!

Wonderful get-a-way right on the beautiful Pacific Ocean! House is very clean, functional, well supplied, and has great attention to detail. An execellent family/couple place to relax and enjoy the Oregon coast. Plenty of space to spend time together or retreat alone. Don't miss out on the jacuzzi tub in the master suite!
