We had a great time. The cottage is in a pretty garden setting, although we didn't spend much time onsite because we were visiting family, Columbia City and other adventures. We also didn't get to use the hot tub because we were too busy elsewhere but it was very convenient had we had the opportunity.

This was a perfect place to stay! My husband and I really enjoyed the peace and tranquility that Julie's cottage offered. Seattle's LINK rail system makes access to Ranier Beach and downtown Seattle super convieniant. We will stay here again I'm sure!! Julie is the perfect hostess. There were days we never even knew she was there, but she was always happy to answer our questions! We loved this place!!!!!!!!!!! Just note there is no way to cook anything but there is a fridge so fresh fruit from the local farmers markets or Pike Place was a great snack or light lunch

Julie's Garden Cottage in Columbia City is a nice place for a quick couple's getaway to Seattle. Columbia City is about a 5-10 minute drive to Downtown Seattle and is walking distance to a lot of great local restaurants and shops. The light rail is within walking distance and a quick way to get downtown without the hassle of driving and finding/paying for parking. Although the cottage was small, it was beautifully decorated and had many windows and skylights - it was really nice to wake up with the sunrise every morning. The cottage had a wet bar, free wireless internet and organic soaps and shampoos. The outdoor area had a very well maintained zen-like garden, a very good place to enjoy a good book.

My friend and I needed a place to stay while her house was being remodeled and we chose this cottage because it was close by. But it was much more. Cozy, clean, quiet, serene and tasteful. Not to mention being surrounded by a beautiful landscaped garden. Every request from needing a toaster to a blender was met with a smile from owner, Julie. And when we had to extend our stay from 3 nights to 6 - no problem. SO glad to have made the discovery - it's the perfect place for a quiet retreat or overflow guests. Other Notes: there is no microwave or stove so cooking is limited. Teeny bathroom but the skylight over the shower adds a sense of space. Twinkle lights add to the charm.

A great retreat cottage with nice details and a private patio setting. Close to downtown Seattle and easy access to light rail. Highly recommend!

My boyfriend and I stayed here, it was just what the listed stated. The location was prime and the owner was delightful. The cottage had everything but a stove... but there were plenty of restaurants that were accessible.

The cottage looked exactly as shown in the pictures. It was clean and in excellent condition. The owner is very personable and knowledgeable of the area. The neighborhood is quite diverse and the people were friendly. I definitely recommend staying here.

We enjoyed two days here, it was very restful, The hot tub was wonderful, it rained and was very stormy outside, yet inside it was warm and comfortable. It seemed small at first, but it grows on you, the bed was comfortable. We found great restaurants and shopping close by. Easy access to entertainment via wi-fi. Private access was a plus. we will come back.
