The home is in walking distance to the West Seattle Golf Course, Fairmount Playground, bus stops, and convince stores. For those that like to walk take a stroll to Alki beach (2 miles away) on the newly developed walking paths. Once there take in the sights and enjoy a meal at one of the many delicious restaurants. If you are looking for a little more city life, you can drive or take the water taxi from Alki to downtown Seattle. Downtown Seattle offers many museums, art galleries, theaters, Pike's Place Market, the Space Needle, Safeco Field, and other interesting sites. For more rural sights, take a 25 minute ferry ride from West Seattle to Vashon Island. West Seattle has a small beach town feel, yet is very close to all the cultural offerings of the city of Seattle.
