Stayed here for a week to see the Ring cycle at the Seattle Center. House is lovely, views spectacular, weather cooperated. Ann was very helpful getting us connected to the internet since we did not bring a laptop. Magnolia is charming. We had lunch several days in Magnolia and really liked Serendipity which had awesome sandwiches and gelato. Plenty of room in the kitchen for two cooks. Everything was spotless. The house is an easy drive to downtown Seattle, in a quiet, established neighborhood. Would recommend to others and would happily stay again (2013?)

 Stayed COOL!, August 8, 2009
By The Barnes Family (Cottonwood, CA)
On July 29th, 2009, Seattle had the hottest recorded temperature in it's history... 103'...But, we had the most delicious air conditioning in this beautiful home. Seattle isn't suppose to get that hot. Only about 10% of homes have air conditioning in Seattle. We all slept so well in this very "COOL" home. Ann thought of everything to help to make our stay delightful! Our week in Seattle was wonderful in more ways than I can tell. Magnolia is a charming part of the city, the view is breath taking, the local markets were unbelievable, the farmers market on Saturday is grand, and we always had room for everyone. I would book this house again!

Booking this beautiful gem was the best decision we made for our stay in Seattle! The location was superb- the neighborhood was not only gorgeously landscaped, but it was very quiet and safe. The bus stop was just a few short blocks away (and just a 20" ride downtown) as were grocery stores, delicious restaurants, and wonderful park. The views from the home were stunning- we were fortunate to be there in clear weather and were treated to Mt. Rainier each morning! The house itself had every accommodation for a luxurious stay. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen offered everything we needed for cooking, and the entire home was decorated with care and with taste! I was especially impressed with the water pressure- by far one of the best travel showers I've ever had! Ann, the owner, was fantastic about communication and made sure every need was attended to. I would HIGHLY recommend staying here over any hotel in the Seattle area. A much better value and a more comfortable stay!

My large family was comfortable here & we really enjoyed our visit. The house is just gorgeous, with all the charm of an antique home, recent renovations and updates are nice. Ann was always quick to respond to emails & was great to work with. With the great space we were even able to have my aunt and uncle (seattle natives) over for dinner. Location is awesome, just 5-10 min to downtown, Ballard, etc and neighborhood is great. The views are just amazing!- Queen Anne Hill, Downtown & Space Needle, the water and Mt. Ranier is huge and beautiful on a clear day! Weather was awesome for our visit only drizzled once or twice, so our views were extra special! Tons of room for eating, enough to sit 14 people between the din. rm, kit. nook & outdoor patio set. No lack of room in this house, although sharing the 3 bathrooms/2 showers between 8+ people can be tricky sometimes, but not really a problem. We would absolutely rent this house again!!!
