Full water and mountain views from newly constructed 4000 square foot, 3 floor Seattle property. 10 min to Downtown, Pike Place Market, Space Needle, South Lake Union (Amazon headquarters), and neighborhood coffee shops, cafes, restaurants, grocery stores, and banks, Fenced in back yard with fire pit, bbq, and outdoor seating.
Free and ample parking in front of the house. City bus line stops directly across the street. Downtown Seattle, Seattle Center and South Lake Union are 10 minutes by car, 20 minutes by bus.
Hi-speed wireless and full cable (HBO/Showtime/ESPN/NFL Network, etc.).
The 1st (street level) floor has a 1300 square foot apartment with a marble bathroom, large walk-in shower, dining table for 6-8 people, kitchenette (full size side-by-side refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, butcher block table, utensils, chef's knives, plates, cups/glassware, mixing bowls, coffee/tea maker, etc.) and sleeps up to 7 adults (or more if there are children). If more room is needed, guests may rent a bedroom across the entryway on the same floor. This extra bedroom has cable tv and a powder room. This apartment has locking doors and the entryway into this floor is separate from the upstairs entrance.
The 2nd (main) floor has an outdoor FRONT deck (facing southwest) which is 266 s/f long and has seating, an outdoor fireplace, and overlooks the Puget Sound & Olympic Mountains. You will enter inside from the deck into a very large (1400 square feet) "Grand Room" with two full-sized linen couches, "couples" overstuffed chairs with ottomans, huge window seat, gas fireplace, game table with games, stereo, turntable, Blu-Ray DVD, and over 100 dvds & CDs, On-Demand Movies, PlayStation, iPod docking station, and flat screen television. On the back of the house is a gourmet kitchen, exquisite maple dining table that seats 4 to 14 people. French doors off the dining room lead outside to a covered BACK porch with BBQ and the backyard which has a large outdoor patio, outdoor seating for up to 14 people, and a large fire pit.
The 3rd (top) floor has two (2) bedrooms; each sleeps two adults. Large, vaulted-ceiling master marble bathroom located in-between the two bedrooms. Laundry room has front-loading washer, dryer, iron & board, and a deep utility sink. Each room can accommodate 2 adults and one or two children.
Vacationers have the option of renting 1-3 floors. Rates vary in accord with space rented. Absolutely no smoking, drugs, unlawful conduct permitted on premises. Pets must be pre-approved upon booking and are permitted on a case-by-case basis and / or are on site.
RATE & DEPOSIT INFORMATION:
Rates based on a 2-20 person occupancy, number of floors rented, and length of stay, and time of year (PEAK vs. NON-PEAK seasons).
NON-PEAK SEASON DEPOSIT SCHEDULE: 20% down to secure reservation; balance due 30 days prior to arrival. 100% payment due if reservation made less than 30 days.
NON-PEAK SEASON CANCELLATION & REFUND SCHEDULE: (January 16 - April 2015)
100% refundable, less reservation deposit, if cancelled 30 days in advance of first rental date. If cancelled less than 30 days in advance of first rental date 90% of monies paid, less reservation deposit, will be refunded. If cancelled less than 21 days of first rental date you may apply up to 80% of your payment, less reservation deposit, toward another visit with us at any available time during 2015 through March 2016.
PEAK SEASON Deposit Schedule:
(May– October 31, 2015, November 15 - January 15, 2016):
20% down to secure reservation; balance due 60 days prior to arrival. 100% payment due if reservation made less than 60 days.
PEAK SEASON Cancellation and Refund Schedule
(May– October 15, 2015, November 15 - January 15, 2016):
100% of funds, except reservation deposit, are refundable if cancellation is made 60 days in advance of first rental date.
If cancelled less than 60 days before first rental date we will attempt to fill the dates and refund your money less only the reservation deposit. If we are unable to rent the property for the dates and amount you reserved, you may apply up to 70% of any monies you paid, less reservation deposit, toward another visit with us in 2015 through March 2016.
If you cancel and monies are applied to another reservation please keep in mind that your rate, deposit amount, etc. for your new reservation may have decreased or increased depending upon whether it is PEAK vs. NON-PEAK season.
The football stadium is 15 minutes away. Enjoy alpine & cross country skiing less than an hour away.
The house is located 4 blocks from Discovery Park, Seattle's largest park (535 acres) and nature preserve. Enjoy hiking, biking, free tennis, basketball, kids' playgrounds, walking trails to the light house, and beautiful beaches for exploring.

The owners were extremely welcoming and polite when we first arrived. We have been lucky to find such an amazing place to stay at during our trip to Seattle. If I was coming to Seattle again this would be my choice for my stay.

This home was a lovely place to stay while visiting Seattle! The owner, Jan, went out of her way to accommodate our party of six, including a baby and a toddler. The home is stunning and is located in a beautiful area with easy access to all the places we were interested in visiting. One difference we found from the previous rental by owner we had used was the fact that Jan lives in the home while you are there. This was not uncomfortable in the least, as she definitely gives you your "space", while being very gracious, friendly, and attentive to your needs. There are two dogs and a cat living in this home, but they are kept in a separate area, so no bother at all. (Just a "heads up" in case of allergies.). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this home and would definitely stay here again! Thanks again for everything, Jan!!

The property is spacious, comfortable, and convenient to get to all the Seattle hotspots. The owner is friendly, helpful, and extremely gracious! We were provided with lists of things to do and local places to go. The location has neighborhood look and beauty, but has a city feel with its city accessibility and proximity to stores. Water is visible from the property, and great sights of the city skyline and Puget Sound can be experienced from an extremely short drive or walk. We were able to make convenient day trips to Orcas Island and Olympia National Park. Mt St Helens and Rainier are accessible as well.
