Description of the Seattle vacation townhouse rental

Our vacation rental, Ballard Abode, is a cozy 1 bedroom, 1.5 bath newer town home in the heart of Ballard in Seattle, Washington. Relax in the living area next to the gas fireplace and prepare meals in the full kitchen if you decide to eat in.
There is a garage for a compact car as well as a small private yard. Sleeps 3 comfortably, 2 in a queen bed and one comfortable twin sofa bed.

Area Information

Less than 10 walking minutes away are three great grocery stores. Or walk to one of the many and varied nearby restaurants, bakeries, and coffee shops to satisfy your hunger. Explore the colorful shops and boutiques just a few blocks away on Market Street and historic Ballard Avenue. Spend your Sunday wandering through the delightful Ballard Farmers Market that offers fresh organic foods and other interesting booths with unique wares for sale. Or venture a bit further to the famous Ballard Locks, Ballard Bridge, Green Lake, Fremont or Golden Gardens where you can enjoy the beach. Downtown Seattle is just minutes away with popular options for sightseeing including the Space Needle, the Music Experience and, of course, the famous Pike Market. Ballard Abode is on the bus line that goes directly to downtown.

The appartment's location is ideal, close to Historic Ballard, shops, restaurants, cafes, and public transportation (bus).. The appartment was clean and most comfortable, and we felt welcome. It is perfect for a couple.

The location was great. I've always stayed downtown when traveling to Seattle but the Ballard neighborhood was surprisingly pleasant. Thelma was great at keeping the communication lines open and was available for any questions or inquiries. The 'abode' was very comfortable and aesthetically pleasing. I would recommend this place for any couple looking to spend some time in Seattle.

We loved this rental. It was clean, easy to find and warm. We liked the fireplace and the kitchen was just right for the two of us. If you are looking for a place near Seattle without having to stay down town this is the place. If you are planning on staying here and renting a car I would recommend renting a very small car because it will fit in the garage. Our Subaru Forester fit fine. Parking on the street could be problematic.
