Description of the Seattle vacation townhouse rental
There are many neighborhoods around Seattle that were little towns before becoming part of greater Seattle. Ballard is one of these and so, it has a vibrant little downtown area that includes the Ballard Avenue Historic District listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Historically Ballard was a fishing village and still has many inhabitants of Nordic ancestry. Ballard is a great place to navigate from as you explore not only the sites in Seattle but also the San Juan Islands and the Hoh Rain Forest in Olympic National Park. Mount St. Helens National Volcanic Monument is nearby. The Canadian cities of Vancouver and Victoria are not far away.

A wonderful vacation spot

In Seattle for college graduations. We found the home even more beautiful than the photos. Our contact with the landlords was always helpful, and professional. Our next visit will include a stay here if possible.

The appartment's location is ideal, close to Historic Ballard, shops, restaurants, cafes, and public transportation (bus).. The appartment was clean and most comfortable, and we felt welcome. It is perfect for a couple.

Love this place! You can walk, shop and dine in just a few steps! While staying there we felt very safe and comfortable. The abode is nicely done and has all the amenities you will need for you're stay.

Thelma was very accomodating and quick to respond.

The location was great. I've always stayed downtown when traveling to Seattle but the Ballard neighborhood was surprisingly pleasant. Thelma was great at keeping the communication lines open and was available for any questions or inquiries. The 'abode' was very comfortable and aesthetically pleasing. I would recommend this place for any couple looking to spend some time in Seattle.
Nice place to stay

We loved this rental. It was clean, easy to find and warm. We liked the fireplace and the kitchen was just right for the two of us. If you are looking for a place near Seattle without having to stay down town this is the place. If you are planning on staying here and renting a car I would recommend renting a very small car because it will fit in the garage. Our Subaru Forester fit fine. Parking on the street could be problematic.

About:Garry and I are active semi retired folks. We spend part of the year in our Ballard town home and offer it to guests when we are not there. The Ballard area is just perfect for us. We can walk everywhere and encounter friendly faces as we choose from a myriad of coffee shops, restaurants and even the...
