Description of the Sebastian vacation home rental

Ready for some relaxation in luxury! All services included. This beautifully maintained 1909 house, who just turned 100 years old last Friday, still has all the charm from it's time. Including the generous front porch with comfortable seating which looks out unobstructed, over the Indian River across a large green front lawn. Watch dolphins play, manatees swim and some incredible bird life fly by while sipping a cool beverage. Witness the very rare and seasonal White Pelicans who frequently live on the neighboring docks(winter only) feed on the abundant sea life. You'll also see many of Florida's protected and endangered wildlife such as the Florida Osprey, Sandhill Cranes, Wood Storks and Snowy Egrets. The entire house has it's original hard wood floors, walls and ceilings and original recently refurbished windows. Three bedrooms with river views and two baths are upstairs including the master which has it's own in-suite bath. There's another balcony on the second floor for even better views of the river. The main level has one bedroom, one bath, two living rooms, an office and a large dine-in gourmet kitchen which has recently been upgraded with all modern appliances. The wrap around porch on the kitchen overlooks the large chlorine free 20X40 pool, hot tub (winter only) and pond. The pool area includes a large stainless steel gas BBQ, table for 8, chairs, loungers, and umbrellas. Bring your boat and keep it handy on the private dock with a boat lift. Great fishing and kayaking right off the dock. The inlet to the Atlantic Ocean is only 1 mile from the end of the dock, directly across the Indian River. Included is a generous cottage with water views that has a bedroom, full bath, eat-in kitchen, living room, and a screened in porch with table and chairs. We also have a fitness area with a TV attached to the garage which has weights, tread mill, inversion board, Ab lounger and a universal gym. Left on site are pool toys, floats and games, volleyball net and balls for the pool and the grass court and also a croquet set for the front lawn.

For driving; Just minutes away is the Sebastian Inlet State Park, famous for its surfing, swimming, beaches, ocean and lagoon, sports fishing. Golf, world class sky diving & instructions, kitesurfing & lessons, bird watching, diving, treasure hunting, and Pelican Island excursions are all just a few minutes away. The famous Disney Resort, Mel Fisher Treasure Museum, and Jungle Trail are also close by. Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom, Epcot Center, Universal Studios, Kennedy Space Center and much more are all a short drive from here.

Just an hour from Orlando Int'l airport and only 20 minutes from Melbourne Int'l Airport. Excellent dinning, entertainment and local watering holes right down the street. Close to local shops and just 15 minutes from downtown Vero Beach shopping.

• Other Fees: Included in the rental: Lawn service, pool/hot tub service (hot tub in winter only) and weekly cleaning service available (for more than 1 week stay). Cleaning fees are $175.

What a great house! The pool is huge! The house is beautifully decorated and has wonderful views of the river. The owners are great, helpful, friendly, etc. We had a wonderful vacation.

Outstanding! Our family had a terrific time enjoying the beauty of FL thanks to our wonderful host. The house is perfect and exceeded our hopes for a luxury vacation home. My family had a great time spending the winter in paradise! Nice pool, incredible views and complete relaxation. We utilized the gym and were able to watch the space shuttle launch from the dock. We had such a wonderful time. The home and cottage were great. We were able to rent a boat for a day and fish off the dock all week. We had an amazing vacation!! The kids especially loved the pool. We would definitely rent there again!!
