Description of the Sebastian vacation home rental
In coming to Sebastian, choose wisely. You want to be near the inlet for quick access to the ocean. Our house is just 2 miles south of the Inlet and 1/8 mile south of the City boat ramp.
No boat? No worries!! There's plenty to do or not do. Just relax in the shade, or go out on our dock and do some fishing.
Not a fisherman? No problem there either! You can sit on our porch or lay in the hammock just steps from the Waterway where you can enjoy the river breeze and observe such wildlife as dolphins, manatees, osprey, bald eagles, cranes, pelicans and much more or just watch the parade of boats go by. Take a trip to Pelican Island National Wildlife Refuge. The Sebastian Inlet has some of the best surfing in Florida. Swim, snorkel or sun on our unspoiled natural beaches. No rows of high rises here!
Enjoy a spectacular morning sunrise on the Indian River from the foot of your bed or right on our back porch! From our home, you won't see any roads with traffic, concrete high rises, bridges or other unnatural structures to spoil the view. Just water, wildlife and natural Florida fauna. In addition, make sure your vacation home choice does not have you driving everywhere. All of the river front restaurants are within walking distance. There's a pet park, City park, free kids water park, public boat ramp and 2 City fishing piers just steps outside our front door. The City park hosts arts and crafts shows many weekends throughout the year. Want to jog, walk or bike with a view of the water? Then enjoy our 4 mile Riverwalk. This walk takes you along Indian River Drive and the entire river front of the City proper. Riverwalk park also has free Friday night concerts in the park the first six months of the year. We love to grab a lawn chair, head on over and relax with a wonderful evening of music. Of course, there's the Sebastian Inlet with it's unspoiled beaches and State parks which is a short drive or boat ride away. No concrete jungle here, just fabulous Florida as it used to be. So bring the entire family. Pets are welcome too!
The house itself has plenty of amenities. We have 3 large flat screen TV's, DVDs, Playstation 2, internet, Sealy mattresses in every room, state of the art kitchen, free laundry room, poker table, bumper pool table, full array of board games and much more! 2 kayaks are also available upon request.
You won't find a cleaner more comfortable place! We know you will enjoy our home and the City of Sebastian as much as we do. It truly is one of a kind! Reserve your time now!

Our family enjoyed the most relaxing Christmas ever. The view from the covered patio -- and the kitchen/dining room -- is spectacular. Fun waterfront bars/restaurants are within walking distance or an easy drive. We'll be back.

We were very impressed with the beauty and serenity the location provided. The owners description along with the pictures of the home, are quite accurate. Although to experience the breeze off the lagoon, the sunrise and sunsets, the jumping fish, kayaking, all of the warmth this home provides yourself, is truly a joy. The area is quaint and provides a casual and friendly atmosphere. We didn't want to leave which means we definitely want to come back:-) We highly recommend this rental!

The home was great! The place is really pretty, clean and quiet. We loved your landscaping and the dock and the view is beautiful. Sebastian is a nice small town and we loved the riverwalk. Captain Hiram's has great fish and oysters on the half shell. We even cooked seafood at the home. We went straight to the house with the directions given and had no trouble getting in. The best thing was getting out of the Indiana cold! Highly recommend it and hope to get back sometime.

Stayed in August for the opening of Lobster Season. Fantastic house and is a lot nicer than the place where we previously stayed on our annual lobster trip. Close to the inlet, so getting to the dive sites was easy. Everything we needed was close by (fuel,food,bait,etc). Going on-line to book for 2010.

Simply amazing! The pictures here are just to give you a brief picture of what to expect, but if you physically came to see it for yourself it is a spectacular view. Sebastian inlet state park was only a few minutes away so we went there to catch some nice big snooks. This house couldn't have been any better. It was a very clean and pleasant place to stay for our vacation trip and the owner was very friendly. Another thing I'd like to mention is that there is a Walmart and Publix very close by which was very convenient for our trip. I hope to come back sometime in the future!

We really enjoyed our week in Sebastian. The house was perfect. It made our stay very enjoyable. You can see that the owner takes great pride in his property. A great neighborhood with parks, the waterfront, city docks, and playgrounds. We want to return as soon as possible.
