Description of the Sebec vacation home rental

Our home is a cozy antique Cape on one acre of land in quaint Sebec Village. It sits up off the main road and overlooks the eastern end of Sebec Lake as well as the village. Enjoy nature while relaxing at the house! Come watch Bald Eagles fly down the lake and river, deer graze under the apple trees at night, and the occasional moose lumbering down the dirt road. Enjoy the spacious yard for playing or relaxing on, as well as the cool breeze that comes off the lake - perfect on the hot days of summer. The home is on the snowmobile trail and ATV trail. The public boat launch is less than 1/4 mile away. Two kayaks are available, as well as a canoe (please bring your own life jackets). Swimming is just a small walk away, as well as fishing.

Sebec Village is located between Dover-Foxcroft and Milo off of Routes 6 and 16. The lake is 13 miles long and has beautiful views. Most tourist attractions (other than the lake) are about an hour away: Baxter State Park (home to Mount Katahdin and the Appalachian Trail), Bangor, and Moosehead Lake. The Forks is about 1 1/2 hours away, home to Moxie Falls - the highest waterfall in New England. Bar Harbor is about 2 hours away, making it perfect for a day trip. There is plenty to enjoy in the area - hiking, swimming, boating, hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, white water rafting, shopping, or just plain relaxing. • Deposits: Weekly rental deposit - $350.00 deposit, money order or cashier's check only. Entire balance due at least 7 days before check-in. Daily rental deposit - 100% balance due at least 7 days before check-in, money order or cashier's check only.
   
• Other Fees: A security deposit of $350.00 is due at time of check-in, money order or cashier's check only. Please leave the house neat. The security deposit will be used for household items damaged by the rentor, or one of his/her guests; missing items; or breaking the smoking or pets policy. A seperate security deposit of $400 will be taken for use of the kayaks and canoe. The deposit will only be kept for damaged or a missing kayak or canoe.
