This is a Beatifully Remodeled 3/2 CBS home on a spacious landscaped lot located in Wauchula's Riverview Heights by the Peace River. Riverview Heights is a very nice subdivision of Wauchula located on the east side of town. We receive city services such as water, electric, sewer, and garbage collection but technically we are in the county, just outside the incorporated limits. Wauchula is just 20 minutes to Avon Park and 30 minutes from Sebring.

Wauchula was named by the Florida Southern Railway when it extended south in 1886 and built a depot in the area, which still exists today. The name was derived from the Miccosoukee Indian word Wa-tu-la-ha-kee, meaning 'call of the sand hill crane".
Wauchula was incorporated as a city on September 29, 1902,
chartered on May 22, 1907,
and the historic City Hall was built in 1926.
