SEDONA JEWEL UNDER CATHEDRAL ROCK

We stayed at Carolyn and Gary's suite for two weeks and enjoyed it very much. The large bedroom/sitting room has a flat-screen TV and recliners and a very cozy pillow-topped bed, plus a nice big closet to store all our luggage and excess stuff. The sunny small kitchen had everything we needed to cook healthy meals. The newly remodelled bathroom, all tile, features a deluxe shower and sink. Best of all was the patio with table chairs and umbrella where we spent a lot of time reading, relaxing and enjoying the spectacular view of Cathedral Rock. We enjoyed numerous hikes in the hills behind the house among the gorgeous red rocks and cliffs. The locations made it easy to get to lots of other hiking trails, ancient ruins and outdoor activities. Our hosts did everything to make us welcome and comfortable and we will be back next year!

My husband and I stayed at this casita for the weekend. The view was great! Comfy room and fully equipped kitchenette. At night you could see the stars and hear the coyotes. Very nice and would stay here again.

We absolutely loved staying at the Casita and we will be back for sure. I was also delighted that we could bring our two dogs, it made our trip! Our stay was extremely comfortable, we took advantage of the kitchenette and made breakfast and dinner each day. We felt so much at home. We had a lovely night stargazing while sitting in the hot tub. We can't wait to come back again!

I cannot recommend this highly enough. The guest house is sumptiously furnished and very comfortable and prviate. It is only 10 minutes to Sedona and the views along Red Rock Loop Road are amazing, as is the view from the hot tub. Go and enjoy.

The property was perfect and not far from town. The guest house didn't have the heat on upon arrival and it took a few hours to get warm. Also, there seems to be a beautiful trail behind the house that goes no where. Information about the trail would of been helpful and the heat on prior to arrival. We would stay again for sure. Love the views, room, and privacy.

With every morning sky different from the various sunrises, this place was a fantastic choice!! To wake up and see the Red Cathedral Rock every morning was an experience we wouldn't have missed. It was so peaceful, and quiet, and only 10 minutes from downtown. This was definitely a 'jewel' and perfect for the two of us. We had a great time and would certainly stay at this property again!!!

This casita has everything you need (minus an oven), but you can BBQ outside. The views are great of cathedral rock sitting on the patio and its a pet freindly environment.

This guest casita was a little bit of heaven for us and our two dogs. From the comfortable bed to the quiet patio with an outdoor jacuzzi, we felt this small space had it all. The kitchen counter with coffee pot, small refrigerator, microwave and toaster oven helped us get up in the morning and make some picnics. Close to parks and the edge of town, we appreciated the country setting. Great hosts and picture perfect both inside and out. Thanks for a fun stay!

We had a blast at the Casita and wish we hac more time to enjoy it more. A very private cozy get away and for a great price. The Owners are wonderful people. I will definitely be back again :)

We stayed there for 3 nights with our Doberman and since we were looking for a quiet place, we found it there.. Very nice, peaceful, private! Nice kitchen area, good size bathroom .My one regret is that the end of the patio is not enclosed and we could not let our dog loose in that area. What a pleasure to have the view of Cathedral Rock at the door and see its beauty from morning to night.I recommend this place without hesitation.

We stayed here for 6 days in late May while hiking and relaxing in the Sedona area. The location is ideal. Cathedral Rock is a gorgeous focal point for sunrises, sunsets, just looking at...and its directly in front of the property in clear view of the hot tub and patio area. The best hiking in the area is right here...no need to even drive to a trailhead! The owners were really helpful and friendly without being intrusive. The room was comfortable, attractive, and had all the amenities we wanted. I'd definitely return and would recommend it to others.

We stayed at Jewel Under cathedral Rock the first week of May. It was everything advertised and more. The accomodations were wonderful. Quiet scenic rental with quiet gracious hosts. The view in front of the rental can't be beat anywhere in Sedona. It is out of the way enough to be quiet and private, but close enough to town and shopping to be convienient. We loved it and would go back in a heart beat! Great value also. It was comparable in price to other rentals in the area, however, they offer so much more. Comfortable bed and homey furnishings. Southwestern meets modern conviences. Wonderful large bathroom and very clean. Good lock on the door. Nothing was scrimped on in the accomodations.

We arrived late in evening (actually early am) so it was dark when we finally made it. When we woke the next morning the scenery was amazing! Cathedral Rock just across the way. We had coyotes howling at night and a herd of javalina's were grazing 30' from our window! The place was perfect, tastefully decorated, well equiped and clean. We totally enjoyed the hot tub and outdoor chiminea. Downtown Sedona was only minutes away and we took a day trip to the Grand Canyon which was only about 2 1/2 hours away! During our entire stay it was so private that we didn't see anyone until the day we were leaving. Would definately stay again we had a wonderful time!

I would definitely recommend this cottage. The place was very clean and perfect for two; the views are incredible, no matter what window you are looking out of. My husband loved Sedona so much, we became time share holders.

The apartment we stayed in was very comfortable and had just about everything we needed.A microwave and a baking sheet would have been nice. The bed and bedding were very cozy and we slept like babies. The new bathroom was beautiful and very clean. The location, views and jacuzzi can't be beat! Beautiful mountain views and a short drive to town makes this the perfect area to stay in . Our hosts' and Chico are very friendly. We will be back again.

Unbelievable! Truly the best location in Sedona. The hosts were very friendly and it is very quiet and comfortable. The rental is very charming and clean and after a long day of sightseeing or hiking the hot tub was great. We truly enjoyed our visit and stay here and will go back - hopefully soon!

Truly is a Sedona Jewel under Cathedral Rock. Best location in Sedona--peace, quiet, no traffic, surrounded by the best red rock views--directly in front of Cathedral Rock for fantastic sunrises and sunsets. Best Casita! Bed very comfortable, incredible jacuzzi perfect after a long day hiking & a sauna! Wonderful courtyard for my pooches. Owners are extremely nice people. Did not want to leave & cannot wait to go back.

If you are not the type to be in the center of where its all at, then this is the place for you! Private, quiet, clean and comfortable. Excellent panoramic view of Cathedral Rock. Located on a road that you can hike right from your door and see beautiful red rocks, hot air balloons and take in the natural beauty. The description written for the "Jewel of Sedona" did not by any means do it justice. Our host was so accommodating and extremely friendly. The guest room held a warmth that I cannot explain. We only left to go into town for provisions. The grounds surrounding us were full of surprises. Our host allowed us to take our little toy dog and he too was relaxed the entire trip. so is this a true jewel? In our book it is a perfect stone in Sedonas favor. do yourself a favor and stay at one of Sedonas best kept secret.

We totally enjoyed everything about the casita and would stay again. Has a beautiful view, not too far out of town. It was very private, loved the hot tub also private, had TV for viewing outside also. Indoors very nicely appointed. Beautiful furniture and comfortable bed. everything you needed was included, extra towels and all tolietries. Nice large hot shower. Air and heat worked well. Please try for yourself you will not be dissapointed, owner very accomidating and friendly with lots of suggestions of thing to do and see. Thanks so much for allowing us to stay.

Room was very nice with classy furnishings, for the most part. Both lamps needed some maintenance on their stability and some bulbs were burnt out. We did also need to request additional washcloths but considering the owner had recent surgery we give it high marks for our stay. I would highly recommend it.

Beautifully decorated guesthouse and extremely quiet location with a spectacular view of Cathedral Rock. Enjoyed watching sunset on the red rocks and the sun coming up in the morning. Even the short drive into Sedona provided a great view of the area. Hiking in the state park was only a short drive/long walk away. Highly recommend this guest house.

Pictures do not do this location juctice. This was our first time using a rental property like this and we did not know what to expect. It was a fun way to experience Sedona. Our room was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed to make stay complete. Our hostess gave us wonderful sugesstions on places to eat, what to see, and filled us in on local gossip. We will be back for another vacation stay here.

We stayed for 4 fabulous nights at the Sedona Jewel and loved it. It was very private and had a specatular view of cathedral rock. The guest house was very clean, quaintly decorated and cozy. The patio was my favorite part of our stay along with the visits from Chico. It was also convenient to everything in Sedona and Oak Creek Canyon. We will be back!! Thank you for your hospitality.

This was by far one of the best and most comfortable places that I've ever stayed at. The rooms is clean, quite and just the right size. The view was breathtaking and the price is very reasonable. We look forward to another stay, maybe in the late summer and again in winter time. Thanks again for your hospitality.

This rental went beyond my expectations. Very clean, very well taken property. The view is wonderful, nice quiet retreat. The location is perfect for feeling secluded in heaven but yet it is only 10 mins. to town. Perfect vacation spot.

Breathtaking views and the home was above & beyond our expectations. Wonderful people and amazing experience. The location is better than any hotel available and the privacy impossible to get anywhere else. This part of our vacation made a huge impact on our experience and level of comfort! My husband and I chose this property for its location. We wanted to be close to the Red Rock area. This property offered a view from the property entrance and a great starting point for hiking. This property was quiet with very little traffic on the road. We wanted to avoid the crowds and traffic. Even expensive resorts were on busy roads. While the room was small, it had everything we needed. The interior design of the room was wonderful. We enjoyed meeting the owner who was very welcoming and interesting. It's always tricky to book a vacation property online, but we were so happy we took a chance on this wonderful home away from home. The location, just a couple of miles outside of Sedona, is perfect for getting to some great hikes, and the view of Cathedral Rock is amazing. The drive into town is pretty spectacular in itself for that matter. Our hostess was very helpful and the room was lovely, especially the very comfy bed. If you are looking for a quiet spot off the beaten path where you can enjoy the natural beauty of Sedona, I highly recommend this cozy casita.

This was a great alternative to expensive resorts this time of year. The room was quiet and clean. The property has amazing views and is very close to town and hiking trails.
