The home is not in a subdivision in Sedona. It's in a very private neighborhood of custom horse properties on minimum 1.6 acre lots. Stables are located nearby for horse rentals. Golf course is 5 minutes away. Within walking distance to a county park along Oak Creek. Situated on a high desert mesa completely encircled by mountains. 360-degree unobstructed panoramic views from the Sedona Red Rocks to the majestic Mingus Mountain range. After the sun sets, the twinkling lights of Jerome can be seen on the mountainside directly to the west of the home. While resting in the hammock on the patio, watch quail, hawks, rabbits, and squirrels on brilliantly sunny days. Relax in the Jacuzzi spa while watching the stars blink on crystal clear nights. Unwind in this private country setting away from the tourist crowd.

The house is as good as advertised, felt at home almost immediately. A bit remote on a dirt road, but much better than being in a subdivision. Would prefer if a little closer to Sedona in terms of distance, but does provide easy access to areas in the south such as Jerome. It also allows you to repeat the beautiful drive into Sedona, if you don't mind the 40 minute round trip drive each day. I would definitely recommend to a family or group. It's very nice to have your own private space, away from the crowd of downtown Sedona. And you don't have to eat every meal at a restaurant as you would staying at a hotel. Only negative - the crickets were a bit loud for me at night which is what you get with country living, but we also saw a coyote in the back yard which was cool. Overall rating, 10/10.
