Area Information
Setting Lake is approx. 40 miles long and 2 miles wide, good fishing for Northern Pike, Perch, Walleye, and Sauger.
The lake is a part of Grass River famous for "Pisew Falls" one of the highest waterfalls in the Province, and located only 15km North of us along Highway #6.
A Suspension bridge across the river near the falls leads to the Kwasitchewan Falls Hiking Trail.This trail follows the Grass River, the key waterway in the late 1700's fur trade route.It leads hikers down to Kwasitchewan Falls, Manitoba's highest waterfall.
Setting lake Cottage area consist of 4 separate divisions with over 250 Cottages. We are located in the 3rd division,at the tranquil Setting Bay.
