Vacation Rental in the Laurel Highlands (#35875)

Write a review This is the perfect cottage for a quiet and romantic getaway. It has well done updates, a fully equipped kitchen and plenty of space. It was so nice to sit at the fire pit or on the front porch just relaxing. I recommend this to anyone who wants to be close to home but so far away. The cottage was a wonderfully peaceful getaway. It was extremely well maintained and had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. We enjoyed the picnic area, firepit and grill, and it was a great location for day trips and outdoor activities (biking, hiking, Falling Water). We loved the trip. We wanted a place to relax and get away from our life. We wanted to do things we don't normally do. We wanted to relax and just enjoy each other after all the stress of planning our wedding. crickets cozy cottage met all our needs and then some. We had a wonderful time while still having a sense of home. We can't wait to go there again in the future. We stayed at Crickets Cozy Cottage as a weekend away and to go Whitewater Rafting. It was central to all we wanted to do. The most wonderful thing about staying there was the house! It was clean and had all the amenities that you would have at your own home. We have stayed at many cottages and this, by far, was on the top of the list. We would stay there again without hesitation. This place has everything you need for a romantic or family getaway! Everything is brand new and has been updated to its fullest! We came here for a romantic Valentines weekend! We went snowboarding at 7 Springs which is a short scenic drive and one of the best (if not the best) mountains to go to in all of PA! Sue and Bill are so nice and are great hosts! We can't wait to come back here and use the fire pit and go biking! This is a great little cottage to enjoy time away from the hustle and bustle. We stayed here in October for a Halloween weekend getaway and had a wonderful time. It was a great atmosphere with the beautiful fall foliage and scenic views. The cottage itself is without a doubt the best rental in the area for the price and very well done interior and exterior. We look forward to staying again in the future. We were looking for a place to meet our Marine son for an early Christmas. This cottage was all I had hoped for and more. It was clean, cute and comfortable and decorated for Christmas so I didn't have to bring a thing! Confluence had a nice grocery store and the kitchen was stocked with all necessary pots, pans and utensils. We visited Ft Necessity, Ohiopyle Falls and drove up to Seven Springs. As flat-landers, we enjoyed the hills and dales for a change of pace. But the most fun was playing games, eating, watching DVD's and relaxing at the cottage. We commend Sue and Bill for this lovely cottage and for being so helpful. Thanks! A quiet place to get away and relax. Close to the local ski resorts, if you want to ski. Visit nearby Fallingwaters or Ohioply for entertainment.
