SEVIER COUNTY NOW HAS MOST MAJOR RESTAURANTS AND BOASTS OF LIQUOR BY THE DRINK. GATLINGBURG HAS PACKAGE STORES AND BEER IS SOLD IN GROCERY STORES. WE HAVE EVERYTHING FROM SHOPPING MALLS TO MAJOR ATTRACTIONS, PLAYHOUSES AND THEATRES. DOLLYWOOD IS THE MAJOR ATTRACTION AND WELL WORTH IT.
THE GREAT SMOKY MOUNTAIN NATIONAL PARK IS A MUST SEE! IT IS FAMOUS FOR IT'S HIKING TRAILS AND OVERLOOKS.

Comfortable and Affordable

Great place to escape the snow storms back home. Centrally located to a variety of attractions. We especially liked the fireplace on cool April evenings. Walking uphill on the mountain roads was great cardio exercise.

Everything you could ask for. Nice private backyard where we could be with dog off leash (he doesn't run). Large kitchen with dishwasher, full sized range, 2 door fridge, washer/dryer. Quiet. Only 15 mins to Sevierville, 20 to Pigeon Forge, 25 to Gatlinburg. Clean, cute, affordable. No pet fees, cleaning fees, reservation fees. Cheaper and a thousand times nicer than motels and hotels in towns. A million tv channels on Direct TV this that is to your liking. Books, games, firering, bbq, inside fireplace. Cute, clean, reasonable. Nicest owners ever.

We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage, it is decorated in a country/antique theme and is just adorable. We felt right at home. It is sooo quiet and peaceful and close to every where we planned on going. The Clingman Dome which is at the Smokey Mountain National Park, it is absolutely amazing a must see for everyone it is so beautiful at the top of the Smokies. The only thing we would suggest is that they replace the bed and sofa they were not very comfortable. Thank you so much for the use of the cottage ,we will plan another stay next fall. Cheryl and Zig

We purchased a 4 inch memory foam mattress for the top of the bed and have a 2 inch foam topper in the closet for the sofa bed.
We had another complaint and decided to take drastic action so nobody ever has another complaint. This should fix it.

Everything was neat and clean. All linens and towels were provided. Once we made the trip in and out a few times, it was pretty easy to navigate to. Owner even let us check in EXTREMELY early which was so nice. The only negative I have to say about it is 1) the directions to it were so vague, it was farther away from pigeon forge than I originally thought and 2) the mattress on the bed was really "broken in".
Owner's reply:
This is the second complaint in 4 years that we have had about the bed, so we took it all apart and discovered that the box spring had broken in the middle. This caused the weakness in the middle. We have repaired it and put a foam topper over the mattress to make it more comfortable. This mattress was brand new (not a pillow top) when we opened the Cottage. We sincerly apologize for anyones inconvience.
We only give directions from the main road as it was would be practically impossible to guide guests in from their locations.

Affordable vacation rental

The Cottage had everything we needed - full-size kitchen appliances (even a dishwasher!), a washer and dryer, a bedroom, and living room. Plenty of room for the 2 of us and our small dog. It's a little out of the way but only about 20 minutes from Gatlinburg. Not as scenic as some cabins we've stayed at but a good value for the cost and nice and quiet.

Up the winding road to the little cottage. It's well marked and easy to find. I would not recommend driving in at night unless very familiar with the mountains of TN. The cottage was fully stocked with towels, pots and pans, microwave, 1 Tv in the living room, coffee pot, iron and board, washer, dryer, small 2 seat dining table and a vaccum. Since they do not charge a cleaning fee you leave it the way you found it. It was very clean and no odors even though they let you bring your pet. You are about 20-30 minutes from all the action of Pigeon Forge and Walmart. Overall a very nice stay, only recommendation is a new mattress for the bedroom. We stayed a week and enjoyed the peace and quiet of the area. This cottage is nice for a couple wanting to get away to the mountains and not spend a lot of money. Thanks for letting us bring our dog.

Everything we were Looking for!

What an amazing cottage. Everything we wanted and needed for a peaceful escape to the mountains. It was so accomidating and so affordable it was truly a blessing for us. Great place for kids to run around and play without worry and they loved the campfire and marshmellows. At bedtime the kids fell asleep in front of the fireplace, all wrapped up and cozy. It was so quiet we could sit on the porch and listen to the sound of the leaves fall off the trees. Peace of mind and great memories, the cottage will definitly be our next vacation destination. We went to the International Show and Gift Exposition in the Smokies for buisness. We shopped for my little shop till we couldn't shop any longer!!! It was so nice to be able to come back after a long day, to a clean quaint cottage where we could just relax infront of a roaring fire, glass of wine, and relect on the day. There was everything that we needed right there in the cabin. We hope to come back and stay again.

This cottage was just what I needed. Feeling tired from work and dreading vacation with 2 grandchildren. After getting to the cottage and relaxing on the porch I was ready to go.
