Description of the Seward vacation home rental
Perfect for family re-unions or friends traveling together! This comfortable and well furnished house is located in a quiet neighborhood, yet is 3 blocks from the sea Life Center and downtown shopping.
The old fashioned kitchen has plenty of cooking utinsels and serving dishes. The back yard has a nice deck with a gas bar-b-q and plenty of seating for your convience. Last year I put in a small firepit for roasting marshmellows, and the yard is full of flowers, shrubs and herbs.
The bedrooms are comfortable and quiet, with their own bathrooms, and we have lots of hot water to keep up with your needs.
The TV Room has a reclining couch and chair, 36 in TV.
Games, books and and a few DVD's are provided, as well.

Area Description
Seward is a scenic 2 1/2 hour drive from Anchorage.
It is a small town, (most services are within walking distance) and is surrounded by mountains, glaciers, and Resurection Bay.
Wildlife is abundant, and Reseruction Bay teems with sealife; whales, otters, sealions eagles, puffins to name a few.
The heart of the town is the Seward Small Boat Harbor.
Watch the days catch come in; cartloads of silvery salmon, bright orange rockfish, huge Ling Cod and halibut weighing up to 250 lbs. The cleaning stations are a great place to meet your captain and crew of your dream fishing trip.
Kayaking, dogsled tours by Iditorad Champion Mich Seavy,
Whitewater rafting, and Glacier Tour are just a few adventures awaiting you nearby.
For the occasional afternoon, the Sea Life Center is a world class marine research center. cThe huge aquariums, hands on exibits for the kids, and watching "Woody" the 2,000 lb, sea lion.
There is something for everyone.
