The "wow" effect started from the minute I walked in the apartment - in fact I called owner immediately to tell her how much I liked it... its spacious, functional but what truly striking is the carefully chosen decorative items represents the owner's unique taste well melted with local flavor as well as function of the room. e.g. a beautiful painting of bund and a stylish Chinese painting in the living room, the authentice black and white cooking pictures in the kitchen... and the more. Overall its an unbeatable choice if you want to experience true Shanghai life in a french concession area... many small cafe and boutique shops within 5 min walking distance; a quiet but charming street just outside of compund covered with real french indus is a perfect romantic one to stroll down to major road of Huaihai... definately a walk distance to what Shanghai is offering...
