Beautiful views & private lake access on both sides of this newly restored camp located on peninsula on Mousam Lake in
Shapleigh, Maine; located a little less than two hours from Boston.
A great front porch. Sun from sunrise to sunset. Incomparable lakeside views in every direction (Camp is on a glacial peninsula). Mousam Lake is 7 mileslong. Many other lakes nearby. Great fishing.
Safe for dogs and cats. A short walk from your car guarantees you peace and privacy. Great for kids but not suitable for small children.
Private docks & near by sandy beach make this great for swiming, boating, fishing & just relaxing.
Kyaks, paddleboat & other water toys.

On a peninsula on Mousam Lake (7 miles long). 1.75 hours from Boston. A 1/2 hr to K'port, Ogunquit, & coast.

Great quiet retreat. My family and I felt like we were on our own private island. Plenty of water activities for the kids and a nice spot to unwind and enjoy a quiet sunset and campfire. Also, close distance to town and local amenities. Can't go wrong with this rental.

Quiet, private and peaceful with a big screen porch, breeze off the lake, a good book in the afternoon and campfire at night. This was, once again the wonderful Maine cottage vacation I enjoyed so much and remember so fondly as a child. Enjoy !

beautiful sunset views, quiet location above the lake with swimming etc. Cute camp with everything we needed plus internet & cable. Very private & enjoyed the campfires everynight. Very relaxing with nice hammoc & big sceened in porch with lake views

This cottage was recently for sale. I looked at it but it didn't impress me. The new owners have fixed it up A LOT! This cottage has AMAZING views because it is on a peninsula. You can see the sun rise and set. The only bad thing is that you have to walk through peoples' property to get to it and the cottage is on the top of two slopes. If you enjoy swimming on the open lake and an inlet. It is pleasant and cute.
