Out on a point in Mousam Lake. 2 hours from Boston. Small, peaceful, traditional Maine "camp" sleeps 6. Two bedrooms upstairs. (4 Twins; 1 Queen.) One small sleep sofa down. New bath & kitchen, fully equipped. Sun from sunrise to sunset. Beautiful trees (shade). Incomparable lakeside views in every direction. (Camp is on a glacial peninsula.) Hammock, deck, grill, large yard, dock, small beach, perfect for kayaks and canoes. (Motor boat too if you like.) Excellent fishing. Mousam Lake is 7 miles long. Many other lakes nearby. Safe for dogs and cats. A short walk from your car guarantees you peace and privacy. Perfect romantic getaway. Not suitable for small children. Available September 10 to mid-October.

Ideal for dogs and their humans

We had a Wonderful time!!! A small, quaint, charming and adorable place. Was perfect for a family of four, a newfoundland and a jack russell terrier.Because of the location of this camp, sun 24 hours!! Views can't be beat!Dock on the cottage sight wonderful! But, too deep for my Newfie to get in and out of water! If not for private beach access on other side my Newfie would have not been able to swim on his vacation!!!! He did not get out of the water for the seven days we were there. He soon learned how to get to the beach himself if he was ready to go and we weren't!!! Beautiful, Beautiful! If you have dogs, this is a MUST stay!!!!

I emailed an inquiry for reserving this property for July 19, 2008 thru July 25, 2008 as instructed by your website. I never received a response from the owner of this property. So I never got to stay at this property.
