Our BRAND NEW, beautiful two-story, mountain home, is set on a cul-de-sac and abuts a 40 acre nature preserve for your hiking pleasure. The home sits perched high above the main road with far-off views that become even more compelling as you hike your personal backyard mountain.

When you climb to the first level, you will find a hammock waiting for your pleasure. As you lay there, you will see Eagles and far off views of the Delaware Water Gap. Hike yet a little further and you will find yourself in the woods by the natural stone seating area. Climb even higher and you will reach "Meditation Rock" near the ridge. Climb on top and pray, meditate or just sit and ponder life's great mysteries.

Located in the Delaware Water Gap Area, this personal mountain retreat is located on an acre mountain lot. It is surrounded by a preserve. It has beautiful mountain views all year round and a view of the slopes that are just within walking distance. This luxury rental and offers five bedrooms, large kitchen, family room, living room, and more. One bedroom and a full bath are on the first level to provide disabled guests easy access. The home comfortably sleeps twelve. Linens, towels, cookware, and utensils provided.

Nearby area attractions include the new MOUNT AIRY RESORT & CASINO, Resica Falls, Bushkill Falls, Delaware River, Appalachian Trial and much more! Perfect location for exploring and enjoying the beauty and majesty of the Poconos. Fishing poles are provided so you can also hike to the lake to fish or drive a short distance to the majesty of the Delaware river. Easy access to all. Shawnee ski resort, Shawnee Pool, Shawnee Play House, and Shawnee golf course, are just minutes away. Camelback ski resort and shopping at the Crossings are close by.

 Beautiful Home in Great Location, September 2, 2009

Gorgeous, new house; very clean, even garage is clean! Lots of room to spread out with 6 kids (ages 3-10) and 4 adults. Kids loved the bunk beds, air hockey and book selection. AC worked fine; shower water pressure good. Handicap accessible bath and bedroom on 1st floor a real plus for us. Kitchen roomy & well stocked; plenty of linens and towels. Great location for almost all activities in area. Route 209 has everything you could need for shopping or supplies. Outdoor pool and play area were very close by, clean and fun. Lifeguard on duty and some pool toys available at site. Lots to do in the area with kids --hiking (they loved the 3 levels up the backyard mountain), go-karts, archery, paintball, river rafting (age 4 and up), flea markets, snake farm, historic working farm, Land of Make Believe amusement park (up to age 12), fishing in rec area off River Road (kids don't need PA fishing permit) and in private lake nearby we found on tourist map(about 20 minutes from house--no PA fishing permit needed even for adults; house has 3 fishing poles--had Trout for dinner-awesome). Overall great time. Kids want to live there forever! Hope we can return again next year!

This home is beautiful and spacious. We saw beautiful deer and wild turkey every day. The kids especially enjoyed the air hockey table! The indoor pool facility was an added treat. This lovely home is highly recommended if you're looking to get away from the hustle and bustle and just relax.

it was more than we expected. The house was beautiful, the space was plentiful. Our grand-children had lots to do, both inside the house (air hockey, board games, hide & seek in the many rooms) and outside the house (River rafting, go-carts, swimming, mini-golf) We strongly recommend it.

This home has exceeded our expectations. The house was spotless upon our arrival, the bedrooms and bathrooms are all large enough and are very nicely decorated. The mattresses are comfortable and there is ample closet space to store your stuff. The kitchen is very large and is very well equipped. The dining room is beautiful and the dining table is HUGE. The little game nook with an air-hockey table was a very nice touch. There are several television sets and VCR's throughout the house and there are a few board games for the kids to play. The recreation area with a pool is a short drive away. Overall, our experience has been very satisfactory. The owners were a pleasure to deal with. I highly recommend this property.

Just returned from our family vacation and I have to say this house exceeded all my expectations. From the homey feeling of the house and its surroundings to all the extras included. Loved that the kids had tons to do. We spent hours playing air hockey, board games and hiking thru the beautiful property line. Highly recommended.
