Good for Big Groups

This site was still being remodeled when we stayed. So things were incomplete or dusty. But the place has wonderful potential for all that they appear to be doing. Best for extended families or bunch of friends wanting to stay near the water. Ideally the warmer the weather the more there is to enjoy. The owners were very nice and accommodating. Certainly worth the trip out.

Unforgettable Family Vacation

Slightly belated review, but I can't rave enough about this vacation house. We are a family of 5 with 3 young kids under 6 and everyone loved it. We barbecued oysters nightly, fished from the dock after dinner and spent every minute we could in the water. Shelton is a quick 10 minute drive with an easy to get to Safeway with a great park for kids. Olympia is a 35 minute drive for shopping centers and more activities. I also highly recommend taking the ferry to Seattle for a day trip and definitely take the 90 minute drive to Olympic National Park for some awesome hiking.

Stunning location - great for families

This is a really beautiful, well laid out house in a stunning location. Good things: marvelous house, nicely furnished, beautiful surroundings, great kitchen and baths, great dock, great activities, games, etc. This is a perfect getaway for a family. The owners were really easy to deal with and accommodating. We have very few complaints, which relate to very minor comforts (e.g. the bed upstairs was too soft for my taste, and one set of flannel sheets were old and pilly). I do really wish the chairs outside were more comfortable. The setting is so beautiful that I just wanted to sit outside all day, but the chairs weren't very comfy. These are very picky complaints.

Fantastic Rental

This house is right on the water and had fantastic views from the huge deck right out the back door. Included in the house is a large family/game room that has a pool table, ping pong table, darts and large television. The bedrooms have nice comfortable beds and high quality linens. The kitchen has everting you would need to prepare any meal. We made brownies and found the correct measuring cups and pans for the endeavour. There is a lower dock where you can fish or take out a paddle boat. My 8 year old caught a large trout right off the dock. There is a small store, two or three restaurants and a fantastic bakery within two miles of the house. We plan to go there again.

We stayed week and had two groups of grandchildren,seven in all. This was our second year,the kids had a blast. there are so many water toys,a canoe,two small kayaks,two docks,and a foot pedaled boat. We also brought our 22 ft C-Dory which we tied to the dock. we took the bunch on a few trips to dig clams at Vaughn and to theRFK state Park. Then, of course we have the inside toys , a pool table, ping pong table lots of board games . The huge deck was our gathering lace for dinner and making smores over a fire. Best of all is the neighbors, Pam and Mike, they invited us over to meet all the neighbors. It was great to get to talk to such fun adults,a nice break from all the kids. It"s a great place!! We will be back...

A wonderful place for the whole family!

I don't think I've rented a better equip house for a family trip. The owner had us set up with fishing poles, crab pots, several paddle boats - pretty much everything you need to pull dinner out of the water. The stocked oysters were to die for! On top of that you have two BBQs, a smoker, a crab boiler, a kegerator and just about everything you could ask for in the kitchen. Even an extra fridge which came in handy. At night it was just dead quiet and the stars were amazing. Wonderful spot to get away and relax & to make memories! Thank you for sharing your home.

Had the chance to stay a full week at Kyle's awesome summer beach house last week and all I can say is WOW! Everything you need for a relaxing getaway. Pedal boat, kayaks, crab traps, fire pit, extensive seating on the house deck, recreation room with table tennis and pool table, etc....If you're on the fence in booking, don't hesitate. I just hope you don't book our week for next year!

First time renting a home for vacation!

Our Son and now daughter in law are in the Army. They were wanting to have a small wedding in Washington and a larger wedding when they return home from deployment. We found this home on the web site and Kyle and his wife took GREAT care of our needs. The local Bakery (Olmpic Bakery) worked up a wedding cake in 3 days and the local florest did a wonderfull job with the flowers. We had 21 guests, wedding on the deck, reception in the game room. What a BEAUTIFUL property to to have a wedding at! After the wedding the rest of the family fished, cooked on the deck and enjoyed nature. We had a deer come to the house every day we were there to graze on the grass. We ate fresh crab we pulled from the pots and oysters from the bags at low tide. Our family lives in one of the best places on earth in Arizona but this is one trip we will never forget. Thank you Thank you Thank you for the memories!!!

Perfect Family Get-A-Way

We just spent Labor Day Weekend with our children and grandchildren here. We had a wonderful time. The beach house is very family friendly. The view is incredible and everyone really enjoyed kayaking, playing pool and ping pong. The deck is amazing with lots of ammenities. Kyle was very accomodating and the house has everything that you will need. We look forward to staying there again.

Perfect Family Vacation

This was the perfect place to stay if you have kids. Kyle and Kristen are wonderful to work with. There is a huge deck and when the water is at low tide the kids spent hours looking for sea creatures. This home had all the amenities. When we where there they where in the middle of remodling but when it is done this will be the perfect place to vacation. My kids wanted to stay there forever!! You wont find nicer people to work with. We recommend it and plan on going back there again!

Relaxing Birthday Weekend

We stayed at this lovely home with a group of friends to celebrate by husband's 30th birthday. The house was perfect, very spacious so there was plenty of room for everyone to spend time together and to have some privacy. We really lucked out with the weather and were able to lounge on the deck (there are more decks on this house than I've ever seen before!) in the sun for most of the two days that we were there. The hot tub was wonderful and the oysters from the beach were delicious and just a short walk to get to. Brinnon was just a short drive away, the store did not have a lot in the way of groceries but enough to supplement what we brought and the customer service was excellent. We would definitely be happy to stay here again!
