Just what we hoped for!
June 8, 2014
Though the road leading right up to the cabin is a bit rugged, it is absolutely worth the effort! This is a beautiful cabin in a spectacular setting. It is beautifully furnished and comfortable inside; the outside amenities are perfect. Loved the hot tub and fire pit, and the deck is the best. I would recommend the Bears Den without hesitation to families or groups. We are grateful for our time together in this special place. OH, and Ghada was very helpful and responsive...
This place is amazing.

This is everything you want in a cabin: comfort and luxury in a rustic-looking place, fires indoor and out, a great hot tub, a game room, a fantastic kitchen, etc., etc. Everyone was blown away. Come with a big group. Just don't try to make it up the hill after a snowstorm!
So happy to hear that you and your group had such a fantastic time at the Bears Den Cabin. It's the perfect place to be any time of the year... but we do highly recommend to our guests that they have a 4-wheeel drive if there is snow or ice on the ground. We'd love to have you back anytime!

My friends and I rented the cabin for a weekend get away. The cabin was perfect for our large group and had everything we needed. The kitchen is fully stocked, there are plenty of games, and the setting is beautiful. We loved the view and enjoyed sitting in the hot tub or by the fire pit. We wouldn't change anything about the experience!

Great stay at The Bears Den
January 4, 2014
I stayed at The Bears Den with a large group (12 of us total) between the ages of 21-25 for five nights, and we all had a fantastic time. We traveled from Northern New Jersey (5 hour trip), Philly, Baltimore, and DC. The house provided ample entertainment for all of us, as the dart board, pool table, satellite televisions, gourmet kitchen, hot tub and wood stove all were used throughout. We also used the fire pit in the backyard one day, which was a lot of fun as well. The view is spectacular and the location is very remote and relaxing. The house is beautifully decorated and has many bear-themed objects and pictures around the cabin, which is fun. There were not many reviews by younger people, but I assure you, this is a fantastic retreat for a young group with plenty to do and comfortable space. We all loved The Bears Den!

This is the second year in a row we've rented this house - it's perfect, secluded and beautiful. We have had many great days here - this last trip it rained every day, but we still managed to have a great time and get outside for some hiking. I can't recommend this place enough!!
Beautiful Home -- Exceeded our Expectations!
September 25, 2013
The pictures are great, but the cabin is even better! And the location is perfect -- feels secluded without being secluded! Beautiful sunsets, campfires in the firepit, fireflies, smores, wine on the deck . . . it doesn't get much better! Great vacation home for adventures in Shenandoah! We will be back!
Thanks so much for posting a review for us. It's so nice to hear how our guests enjoyed the Bears Den and it gives potential renters a great reason to come and experience what we think is a fabulous getaway cabin! So happy that you and your group had such a great time and we would love to have you back!!

We had the pleasure of staying here for a guys weekend. The place was in a good location with a lot of things to do in the area. We hung out at the house most of the time, but did go tubing. The tubing outfitter was only a 10-15 drive and was a great way to relax on the water. The house itself is great. The game room is nice even though a few pool sticks have seen better days. The fire pit is perfect and they have it set up so a fair amount of people can hang out by the fire. We brought a lot of food and drinks and had no problem cooking or storing it all. I would highly recommend this place for a large group for any occasion. The name really says it all. You can be rustic while still enjoying some luxury and relaxation.
So happy to hear that you and your friends had such a great time! We are planning to go up to the cabin in the beginning of October and will be sure to replace the pool sticks. They do get quite a beating! Thank you for your review and we would love to have you back to the Bears Den anytime. Ghada
Even Better Than Expected
June 22, 2013
We were a bit nervous about having cramped quarters for our first vacation with our daughter (8-months pregnant), her husband, and their 6 children, but the Bears Den Cabin was even more spacious than the on-line pictures suggests. Exceptionally clean, modern - with an exceptional view. Isolated, yet lots to do. In our 4 full days (5 nights) we did Luray Caverns, Monticello, hiked the Appalachian Trail - and just stayed home one rainy day playing games, using the hot tub, hiking around the "neighborhood" and even making an evening fire between raindrops - our six grandchildren ranging from 2 years old to 15 were never bored. Beds were very, very comfortable. Any suggestions? Well, perhaps a new dishwasher would be good - it cleaned well, but has definitely seen better days. And the grill was ok, but could use some maintenance. Overall, however, a great vacation, great accommodations. Would return in a heartbeat.
We were so happy to hear that you had such a nice time at the Bears Den Cabin. Our large extended family loves it there also and feels the same way about the cabin and area. Thank you for your suggestions... it is how we try to improve the cabin for our guests. The dishwasher is on our list to be our next purchase and we have already ordered parts for the grill to be updated. We would love to have you and your family back anytime.

Great Cabin, Gorgeous Area
June 5, 2013
We stayed at Bear's Den over Memorial day weekend in 2013. The cabin is simply wonderful! Many amenities and a fully stocked kitchen helped us feel right at home. Beautiful sunsets, hot tubs, fire pit, and plenty to do inside if the weather doesn't hold up. The 5 bedrooms with king / queen beds was a definite plus for 5 couples. Other places had bedrooms with bunk beds or twin beds, so this place was great for adults only. Our dogs enjoyed it too, with room to run outside. We saw no bears. Word of caution: If you are following Google Maps, DO NOT turn on Ingham Rd. It looks like a shortcut but is in fact a dead end. Also, be careful of the road. It's steep and gravely getting up, and could be troublesome in the winter.
May 21, 2013
The house was spacious, clean and well equipped. Enjoyed the deck and the hot tub but didn't even get around to the pool table, fooseball, games or movies.

Rented this cabin for our parents 50th anniversary. Its a beautifully decorated cabin, incredibly clean. It has a fully stocked kitchen. We cooked a dinner for 16 without any problem. The owner was incredibly helpful and flexible. I will definitely be back and will recommend it to others.

Great girls weekend!
March 16, 2013
Enjoyed our visit at the Bears Den in March 2013! The owner was super helpful from the moment I first emailed her to inquire about the property. Once arriving I was thrilled to find the large open layout, beautiful kitchen, modern master bedroom, hot tub, pool tab, and fire pit - the list goes on! The cabin is located on top of a mountain with great views . I found definitely return to the Bears Den!
March 1, 2013
We stayed out here for a wknd w/a bunch of girlfriends and had one of the best wknds ever. The house was immaculate, very comfortable, well appointed, outstanding views, great "customer service" for the few questions we had upon arrival and we'll never forget it. THANK YOU!!

Wife's 30th Celebration
February 25, 2013
Great weekend celebrating my wife's 30th birthday. We had 7 couples and everyone seemed to be very comfortable. Big grilled dinner and night around the fire pit. Beautiful views off of the porch. Very well supplied kitchen for large group.

Beautiful Mountain Cabin
February 13, 2013
Five couples stayed at Bears Den for 2 nights and 3 days for a mid-winter getaway. The rooms were extremely comfortable and nicely appointed. The kitchen was well equipped, and with the gas grill we were able to prepare wonderful meals. We felt that there was plenty of room for everyone, especially with the 2 different levels and mulitple TVs. The game room and hot tub were very nice bonuses and we spent each evening playing pool, foosball and darts, watching movies or enjoying the hot tub. Unfortunately, it was too windy to use the outside firepit, which we also considered an unexpected perk. Bears Den is within easy reach of the Skyline Drive (with wonderful mountain hiking), skiing, canoeing and other outdoor activities. In every way we had a very enjoyable stay and would not hesitate to rent Bears Den again. The only thing we'll do different the next time is stay longer!
January 21, 2013
Great Place!! We rented for a work retreat and there was plenty of room for the 6 of us. Clean, well maintained and furnished with all the amenities of home. We were able to get alot accomplished in a relaxed atmosphere and then enjoy some time playing pool and darts. We will definitely be back.

My extended family recently spent Thanksgiving weekend at Bear's Den Cabin. Once we walked thru the door we all knew that this would be a place we would rent again and again. It is a beautiful place with plenty of room and things to do. While preparing Thanksgiving dinner we found that alot of things we had brought with us were not needed because the kitchen is fully stocked with all the cooking supplies you could ever need. But you may want to get a new can opener since we couldn't get yours to work. The master bath was a hit with the heated towel rack and heated floor. Made getting out of the shower on the cold mornings so much nicer. We didn't use the hottub this trip but did spend Friday night outside at the fire ring. The kids loved making hotdogs and marshmellows in the fire and once they were settled down for the night the adults sat around the fire having adult beverages and visiting. Very relaxing. We are already trying to figure out a weekend in the spring/summer that we can return to your wonderful mountains. Thanks you so much for sharing your fantastic home with us. You have given us memories I will treasure always. Till next time, The Keating family
Mindy, We were so happy to know that you and your family have made such wonderful memories at the Bears Den and we can't wait to have you back for some more family time. It is such a great place to get away from reality and relax. We will be sure to get a new can opener for the cabin and are glad that it had all the things you needed to make a delicious Thanksgiving dinner. Looking forward speaking with you in the near future!

Beautiful Mountaintop Cabin
November 21, 2012
Bears Den sits atop a mountain in Shenandoah, VA, just south of Luray. The cabin was beautiful and clean inside. The five bedrooms were spacious and the bathroom for the master bedroom was huge with a walkin shower, garden tub and heated floors. The kitchen was well equipped. The downstairs was a great place to hang out with a foosball and pool table along with a wood burning stove and a very comfortable lounge area with a nice flatscreen tv. Just out back was a nice deck with a beautiful view of the valley below. There was also a nice hot tub and a great fire pit with plenty of seating. The only issue we had was that if you are with a larger party, be wary that the hot water tank only goes so far. We had a party of 8 and the last two showers in the morning were a bit cold. The drive up to the cabin is a fairly steep incline so if you book in the winter months, be sure to have four wheel drive. All in all, if you want a nice quiet getaway with alot of amenities, this cabin will work for you.
Great time !!

Wonderful house and place to visit
August 20, 2012
We had 3 children under 3 and 7 adults - the cabin met all our needs and had great extras to make the stay enjoyable. We had plenty of space and enjoyed all there is to see and do in the area. It was great fun!
August 6, 2012
We LOVED this property literally from the moment we entered the front door! It was immaculate, and had more than we'd expected in what's needed to feel right at home. Views from back deck fantastic! Owner very friendly & accommodating from the start. The only "down side" was that there wasn't much to do nearby w/our 2 teen boys, but I think that could be resolved with better planning on our part. This was our 1st cabin-type vacation, and we figured it would be a hit or miss, and it was definitely a HIT! We hope to return next year!
a PERFECT family getaway!!!
July 31, 2012
I booked the Bears Den for a family (of 5) getaway following my husband's return after being out of the country for a long time. Thought a cabin in the woods would be perfect for the family to reconnect....and it was! The Bears Den offered EVERYTHING we were looking for---luxury, space, affordability, entertainment, self-containment, and mountain getaway. We had 3 short days at the Bears Den but are already planning our return. Our days were filled by Luray Caverns, Massanutten Water Park and kayaking down the Shenandoah River....our nights were gourmet dinners, sitting on the back deck, lounging in the hottub and smores around the fire pit..... This property's owners know what people want and give it to them! And the master bed!!! It was like sleeping on a cloud!!!! and for reasonable rates!! I can not say enough great things about the Bears Den.... Book your vacation there TODAY!
Wish the Stay was Longer, it was so much fun!!
June 19, 2012
First off, communicating with Ghada was very easy, which I found to be reassuring as I was the organizer of a group trip, so I knew that if anything went wrong, I could easily get in touch with Ghada. The cabin was amazing and it easily fit 15 people. I wish that our group spent more time there as we had an absolute blast. The only downside is that it is not as close to the trails as I originally thought. But, there is still a lot to do as many of us went kayaking locally. I would definitely recommend this cabin, and our group wants to go back in the future!
Lovely, relaxing weekend
June 15, 2012
This cabin was wonderful - from the many bedrooms with extremely comfortable beds and the huge back deck with BBQ and rocking chairs to the awesome basement with couches made for napping and watching sports as well as pool and foosball tables. Fourteen ladies spent a fun-filled weekend relaxing in the hot tub (though not all at once), cooking up a storm in a well appointed and well organized kitchen, resting in beds with the softest sheets and plushest pillows, and kicking back on the porch watching the sun set. We never once felt crowded. The only downside was the charming bear we saw run away Friday when we got there came back for a visit on Saturday night. We weren't sure how close he or she was - but we heard some bear-like sounds that combined with our imaginations cut short our campfire. I hope to go back here again!
We are always so happy to hear how much fun our guests have at the Bears Den. Sounds like you and your girlfriends created lots of wonderful memories. We have heard a few guests talk about the bears but we have yet to see one (we are always on the lookout!) Thank you for your wonderful review and we would love to have you back!
May 30, 2012
I highly recommend this cabin to anyone interested in beautiful views, comfortable beds, and an appetite for exploration. This was a great location with privacy, the river nearby and a gorgeous sunset every night. We enjoyed the game room as well as the hot tub and fire pit outside where we roasted s'mores -it's not a cabin trip until you do ;) Ghada was more than helpful with accommodations and despite an inconvenience we had she quickly handled the issue to ensure we would have a great stay and needless to stay we did! I would love to go back and hopefully will do!
April 8, 2012
Can't say enough about this place. We stayed there with another family of 4 for 2 nights at the beginning of April It was wonderful. Very clean, spacious, and very well equipped for cooking/grilling/fun. More than enough room for all of us. Got to say that the firepit was our favorite thing about the cabin... so nice to sit out there, make s'mores, sit back with a drink, and let the stress melt away. The deck and kitchen had a great view. The downstairs area with the play area/foosball/darts/video games was nice, and the kids enjoyed it when they weren't running around outside. Ghada was very easy to work with, and all the instructions were clear. Hope to stay here again.
February 22, 2012
Seven guys spent three nights at the Bears Den and it couldn't have been a better experience! It was well appointed, very clean, and in great shape! My expectations were more than exceeded. It's in a beautiful area away from hustle and bustle, but close to enough to things to do in the area. We are going to come back for many years to come, I hope. The bedrooms have comfortable beds and the couches provided two more great places to sleep. The kitchen is state of the art, and there are lots of TVs and games to use.The hot tub was a big plus also.
We are always happy to hear that our guests were pleased and even more so when the cabin exceeds their expectations! Whether you want to stay busy and do things in the area or just relax and get away, the Bears Den is the place for your gathering. Thank you for coming and we would love to have you return every year!!
February 12, 2012
The cabin was beautiful and the setting great - the view of the mountains was so refreshing. The stars at night were amazing.
Perfect for a Family Getaway
January 1, 2012
Our extended family (total of 11) recently stayed at Bear's Den. The house was perfect for us. We loved having two gathering spots to play games or watch TV. Young and old both thoroughly enjoyed the pool table and dartboard. My personal favorite was the kitchen - it was well-stocked with pots, pans and dishes -it was very easy to prepare a meal for our crowd. We enjoyed going to see the Luray Caverns, snow skiing and horseback riding during our stay. I would highly recommend this cabin as a great family getaway.

This cabin was beautiful!!! We spent the weekend with friends, celebrating my 40th birthday and it was the perfect place to do it! We go to the mountains every December and have stayed in many cabins, but we will definitely come back to this one. From the heated floors in the master bath to the unbelievable views off the back porch. There's no way this one can be beat in my book! Thanks so much-we LOVED it!
Cozy and wonderfully appointed getaway!
November 9, 2011
We have rented a different cabin in Shenandoah for a fall weekend the past four years and Bears Den was by far our favorite! The owner has provided everything you could need for a relaxing and fun visit. The kitchen is better equipped than any rental house I've ever seen. And there was plenty of space and entertainment (pool table, foosball, games, hot tub, fire pit....) to keep our group of 6 adults and 6 kids very happy, when we weren't hiking or exploring. There is even a small netbook computer available for renters to use. The owner is very attentive and helpful with any questions. The cabin is kept in excellent condition with high end appliances and very comfortable beds. We will continue to go back to Bears Den every fall. There is no reason to go anywhere else.
Cozy and wonderfully appointed getaway!
November 6, 2011
We had a wonderful fall weekend at Bears Den. We were three couples and 6 kids and there was plenty of room and entertainment for everyone! We made big meals each night and the kitchen had everything we could have possibly needed. I was also so impressed with how comfortable our bed was. I have an urge to keep the Bears Den a closely guarded secret but the owner was so helpful and accommodating that I can't help but share it with others. You will not be disappointed with the Bears Den.
August 25, 2011
We had a family get-together in the cabin for a week and it accommodated the 13 of us very comfortably. It is well-equipped with good appliances and the kitchen had everything we needed, including baking pans, which was a very pleasant surprise. Since we mostly cooked at home, this was very useful. All of us enjoyed the deck, looking across the beautiful valley in all its moods. We used the fire-pit as well and the kids enjoyed making smores and singing camp-songs. Of course, the hot-tub didn't accommodate all of us at the same time, we had to take turns. There were lot of board games and dvds. But we didn't see any from the collection there. There was direct TV and also some of us had LapTops that had NetFlix which we connected to the TV. Playing pool with the family was lot of fun. The Shenandoah National Park is a 40-minute drive from the cabin and Old Rag is an hour away. But we still did 4 days of hiking (thanks to the weather!) On the non-hiking days, we just walked down Cold Spring Dr and back up to the cabin, which was enough cardio work-out! On the whole, it was a wonderful experience and I would recommend Bears Den Cabin to all my friends.
August 24, 2011
We were able to get away from the hectic pace of life at this comfortable, immaculate, well-equipped (except for the dishwasher which left dishes a little less than clean-we had to wash by hand), tastefully decorated cabin complete with extra amenities such as access to a wireless network. The deck with a mountain view, grill, fire pit, foosball, pool table and hot tub provided lots of on-site opportunities for family fun and relaxation. The separate deck for the hot tub was perfect for stargazing at night and feeling nestled in the mountainside by day. We fished in the river from the access point at the bottom of the hill. The river was less than 1 mile from the house as stated, but was really only accessible by car because of the steep inclines on the gravel road.
August 15, 2011
Stayed here for 2 nights in March and had such a blast that I just booked it again for a 3 night stay in November. This place is very clean and the view is the best. We are all looking forward to returning in Nov.
Peaceful, relaxing, and great family fun
August 7, 2011
Our family on a daily basis have adopted to the current Electronic world of iPhones, computers, and any of the latest electronic gadget. This trip to Bear's Den brought the family back to nature and a much needed one on one family time. The cabin has all the luxirious amenities, activities and comfort. We enjoyed our time there and managed to visit Luray caverns, hike in the mountains, go to a waterpark and even rent movies at nite and relax. We would return each day by 5PM watch the sunset, prepare a meal pick some activities. The pool table was a big hit with my family with a perfect ending in the Hot Tub. One of my reccomendation would be to upgrade the bathroom dowstairs but other than that the beds were very comfortahle and the house was decorated very tastefully. The large Deck outside was the best part of our evenings. Would also reccommend a Swing or hammock in the back but the rocking chairs were relaxing as well. We hope to visit again and stay at Bears Den. I also like the fact that we can enter the house with a code and not worry about stopping at a rental office to pick up keys.
July 12, 2011
My wife and I stayed ten nights in this wonderful little area of the Shenandoah Valley. The Cabin was outstanding with any and all ammenities one could want. They have a Class 1 pool table and a hot tub that my wife loved. I would not hesitate in recommending this cabin to my friends or family. To get around, I would recommend a GPS in that US Hwy 340 runs not only North and South, but East and West as well. As for the cabin it was PERFECT.

We chose the Bears Den Cabin because of it's location, in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley and near the Skyline Drive. And because it was large enough to accommodate our group. We found the cabin VERY accommodating. Very clean, modern, well kept and fully outfitted; having everything one could need for an extended stay. My wife was impressed with the decor. We found it homey and welcoming. The hot tub was a definite treat after a long day of riding. We have rented before, in other areas, for the purpose of having a base camp to ride from. From experience I would consider the Bears Den one of the best we've ever rented. However, if riding motorcycles, be aware of the last 0.8 miles leading up to the cabin. It's a gravel road with sharp twists and steep grades. The crushed gravel was loose while we were there. Will be better when it packs in. Realize before starting up, after passing through the gate, that it is 0.8 miles and don't stop until you get there. Recommend experienced riders only.

This cabin was just as the other reviews said. We had a great time and would recommend this cabin to anyone!

The cabin and its numerous ammenities were amazing! It is very spacious, well appointed, decorated for comfort, and offers just about every luxury you could ever want. Everything was in top-notch condition, worked well, and written instructions for every device. The beds were extremely comfortable (felt like my orthopedic mattress at home). Although we didn't use the fireplaces, the different types of fireplaces provides something for everyone. Great LCD TV's in every bedroom! It's not often that something actually lives up to its billing, but the information on line and provided by Ghada was not exagerated. It is fantastic! We definitely plan to return for next year's getaway weekend!

We had a wonderful weekend of relaxation, food, scrapbooking and much more. Gathered around the firepit for some fireside chat and marshmallows. Enjoyed the basement recreation area and especially the oh so cozy comfy sectional sofa for movie time. The kitchen cabinets are labeled with pictures to make it easier to not only find but return items to their proper place. Very comfy beds and very nice linens provided. We are a picky group when it comes to cleanliness and we were very pleased. Nicely appointed and comfortable. Very accommodating and pleasant owner. I would return here again and look forward to another great stay. C Winkler

I rented this beautiful cabin for my husband's 30th surprise birthday party. All our friends and family came and spent the weekend with us and it was a blast! The house is perfect and very cozy! There was plenty of room for everyone to relax, play, and spend time together. Lots of memories made to last a lifetime!
December 20, 2010
We have just enjoyed spending 2 wonderful nights in Bears Den Cabin. The online pictures do not do the place justice. It is simply beautiful! The cabin was in pristine condition and exceeded all of our expectations. In total there were 9 adults and 5 kids in our group and the cabin was more than spacious enough. Plus it was stocked with every pot and pan you could ever need! The games room in the lower level was great and the fire pit outside was wonderful on a cold, winters night. We arrived 2 days after it had snowed so the area was a true winter wonderland. One member in our group arrived late by which time the temperature had dropped and the private road up to the cabin was simply impossible to get up due to ice unless you had 4-wheel drive. Under normal conditions the road up is easily manageable. Ice and snow make it a little more interesting! Overall a brilliant time was had by all.

definitely worth going back

This place was a great place to spend quality time with a big group. It was more beautiful than the pictures could have shown. It is also well thought out, including games, towel-rack warmers, chairs to enjoy the view, and even a fry-cutter in the kitchen! We enjoyed our stay immensely, and everyone was able to do what they wanted...really a great experience, and will definitely come back.
A great escape
October 30, 2010
This was our second stay at Bears Den Cabin and we will almost certainly be back next year. The owners keep the property well maintained, clean, and tastefully decorated. While there are several bedrooms for larger groups, we find it a great retreat for the two of us and our dog. The view off the back porch in October is spectacular - the Fall leaves contrasted against another distant mountain range is beautiful.

Very clean and comfortable with all the amenities. Owner's attention to detail makes this a perfect retreat if you want privacy and seclusion. Modern and well equipped kitchen with plenty of televisions for watching the game. Situated between Shenandoah, New Market and Luray. Lake Arrowhead Park in Luray is beautiful in the Fall.

WOW! What a lovely place.Exceptionally clean, well equipped kitchen, beautiful views, the beds and linens felt as if you were sleeping on a cloud. This our first family reunion in 7 years. All attended (14 for dinner on Sunday) and everyone had a great time, especially sitting around the fire pit at night roasting marshmallows, a first for our 5yr. old great granddaughter. I highly recommend this " Cabin in the Sky" for your next vacation.
Everything It Was Claimed To Be

We found the Bears Den cabin to truely be everything it claimed to be. The cabin was clean and comfortable and we throughly enjoyed the experience. The recommendations for activities that we took advantage of "Captain Bo's Shenandoah River Cruise" and several of the local restaurants did not disappoint.

There were 8 of us who stayed at the Bears Den for two nights. We had an excellent time and were very excited about all aspects of what the rental property had to offer! Thanks so much for your creative and well thought out touches. We loved the pictures on the walls, especially the pig jumping off the dock and the cow peaking around the corner of the picture frame! The hand made beds and outside railings were spectacular! We all wished that we could have stayed for much longer! We will recommend you to many friends and relatives!

Comfortable and private

The cabin was exactly as advertised: clean, comfortable and quiet. The location was private, yet convenient to Shenandoah National Park, Luray Caverns, wineries, antique stores, and even Monticello and Charlottesville. A small market was 10 minutes away, and large supermarkets were 20 minutes away. If you like to cook, the kitchen, in particular, was very well equipped, and the downstairs den with its pool table and wood stove was a great place to hang out at night. The owners were pleasant and responsive before and during our rental. We'd definitely stay at the cabin again.

We loved this place, and it was so clean and wonderful. The beds there were so comfortable, and the Master bath with the heated floors was a nice touch. We will surely go back. The views here are awesome, the owners did a really good job on giving folks the best for there money. Anyone would love this place! The only thing we had problems with was figuring out the remote control system for the TV's. And the Masterbedroom was missing the cords to run the DVD player, but we found them (the next day)and hooked them up. But anyone who stays here will really love this place.

About:My husband and I live in Virginia Beach, VA...just a few hours away from the cabin. We have always wanted a place to escape to in the mountains and we found it at the Bears Den. We fell in love with the serenity and quaintness of the area and wanted to own this beautiful cabin from the moment we walked...
