Description of the Shuswap Lake vacation cottage rental

This is a cozy one bedroom cottage with a bed chesterfield in the living room overlooking Shuswap Lake with views of the lake, and mountains. There is an organic garden, deck and small orchard in front of the main house you can enjoy. Relax on the beach at Paradise Point Park a 10 minute walk away where the water is silky smooth. This cottage is a great home base for a couple or small family who wish to relax and enjoy all that the Shuswap Lake area has to offer. Salmon Arm and Sorrento are less than 1/2 hour away. A nice well kept cottage at a very reasonable price. A week from Saturday check in time at 4:00 pm until the next Saturday with the check out time being 11:00 am.

Kitchen: The kitchen has a large fridge, range/oven, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, dishes, glasses & cutlery, pots and pans, bake ware, bread maker and kettle.

Bathroom: On suite bath room with shower.

Video and Sound: One TV, VCR/DVD player, CD player and alarm clock.

Fireplace: There is one wood burning fireplace. There are wood logs supplied.

Other Amenities: laundry facilities, BBQ

Housekeeping: Housekeeping is provided prior to arrival and after departure.

Parking: separate parking for the cottage that can accommodate boat trailer.

Beach Description: The sandy beach is gradual for a short distance, the water is crystal clear and silky smooth to the skin. There are good swimming conditions in (usually) warm water. The nearest boat launch is at Harold Park a 10 minute drive away.

Treatments: Overall health assessment, Massage, Reflexology, Dodecahedron Sound Chamber, Crystal Chakra Clearing. Each treatment is $ 75.00 per 45 min session.

Distance to Shopping and Dining: 30 minutes into the city of Salmon Arm, or 20 minutes to Sorrento.

Distance to Golf Course: The nearest golf course is in Sorrento about 1/2 hour drive from the house.

Maximum Occupants: Cottage 4 persons If more than 4 people special arrangements might be able to be made to rent the downstairs suite of the main house with separate equipped kitchen, bathroom with shower, living room with wood burning stove and one bedroom

The Shuswap Lake area is a world class vacation destination with 1,000 kilometres of shoreline to explore, amidst spectacular scenery and a pristine environment. The Shuswap is a five hour drive west from Calagary, Alberta and a five hour drive east of Vancouver, B.C. on Trans Canada Highway #1. Sunnybarae Cabin is 20 minutes from the TCH.

Shuswap Lake is shaped like an H and is made up of four large arms: the Shuswap Lake Main Arm, Salmon Arm, Anstey Arm, and Seymour Arm. The product of the glacial scouring that also rounded the surrounding Shuswap Highlands, all four arms converge at Cinnemousun Narrows, northeast of Sicamous.
