Description of the Siargao Island vacation villa rental

It's hard to believe a place like this still exists! Even Hawaiians come to Sairgao for vacation. Come find out why.

The main house consists of a large home with one master suite and garden bathroom. The mater bedroom is air conditioned and private with a large antechamber room that can be used as an additional large bedroom. The great room features kitchen, large dinning table, lounges, chairs and an incredible view of the ocean - just a few steps away. The great room may also double as sleeping quarters.

Secondary buildings include:
A four-bedroom, building with common area. Each bedroom is ~10'x12' and is good for 2 people.

The amenities building is centrally located on the property and consists of 4 bathrooms, laundry facilities and public area.

An additional cottage is on the property which houses staff.

Area Information

Siargao Island is a famous surf destination, but still holds small island charm and hospitality of the Southern Philippines. Getting there is easy, with a direct flights from Cebu City serviced by Cebu Pacific Airlines.

The primary surf destinations are in and around General Luna, but we think the best destinations are around the North shore of the island. If you like bars, videoke and crowded breaks, the North shore will not be for you.

This property is our vacation home, away from our home in busy Gen Luna (in the south of the island). It is the most relaxing place I have ever been.

Q:Where exactly is the property?

A:The rental property is located in Alegria - at the North tip of the island.

Q:How far is the property from the Airport?

A:Alegria is about an hour drive from Sajek airport, located in del Carmen. You will be met at the airport by either the owners or one of the staff.

Q:What attractions are in the area?

A:Tak Tak falls (5km), Alegria Beach (0km), Magpapunko Tide Pools (15km), Tangbo Surf Break (2km), city of Burgos (2.5km).

There are some small calendarias in the villages, but the closest restaurant would be about 10km South. Shopping is done at the market in Burgos and small shops (sari-sari).
