Condo #408 is a spacious 1000 sq. ft., light and airy one-bedroom deluxe condo at Sunset Royale on Siesta Key and is special in many ways. Private 200 sq. ft. of open balcony is furnished; 4 swivel rockers around the glass topped table, 2 chaise lounges, large umbrella and stereo speakers. Unobstructed and panoramic view of Siesta Key Public and the Gulf of Mexico. Located on the 4th floor of Sunset Royale, both the condo and building were completely remodeled and updated in 2007. Private covered parking, elevator to your door. King-size bed and large walk-in closet with washer and dryer. Custom Bose audio system throughout condo and balcony. This condo has access to heated pool and spa at Siesta Sunset Royale.
Area Information
From your vacation condo you are less than a one mile walk by beach or by road to the tropical Village of Siesta Key where food, side walk cafes, libations, shops, groceries or just plain fun is awaiting your arrival. This tropical bohemian village lends itself to the casual lifestyle of those who love the sun and beach. This is not a community that is familiar with formal dress, suits or ties and yet great restaurants are waiting to serve you memorable meals at an island pace. Whether you require authentic sushi from JoTo, a fisherman owned restaurant, authentic Italian from Cafe Gabbiano, a special dish from Siesta Key's own Blase Cafe, or a New England meal from the Lobster Pot your palate will be impressed. We don't take food and beverage for granted on Siesta Key, our expectations are high.

Other Vacation Rental Amenities
If you want to leave the Key, you will find many golf courses, theatres, museums, galleries and restaurants in Sarasota to enjoy. Sarasota is the home of Mote Marine, The Ringling Museum and John and Mable Ringling's beautifully restored bay side home, Ca D'Zan. This incredible 32-room residence has some of the feelings of the circus added to the architecture and furnishings. The Ringling Museum is built on those same grounds along with a casual restaurant and a unique circus museum, which details the history of the circus in the states that actually has its roots in Europe. A must for every woman worth her salt, is St. Armand's Circle, on Lido Key on the way to Mote Marine. Shopping is the sport on the circle which has some of the nicest stores and boutiques that you will find anywhere along with great restaurants to help you build up more energy for shopping.

awesome mini vacation!!!!!!

Our family of 4 ( 2 adults/2 kids ) enjoyed a delightful 4 day stay at 408 Sunset Royale. The unit was extremely clean, roomy, and very well maintained. Beautiful kitchen with colorful backsplash and modern counters and sink. There were lots of little extras that are typically not provided in a stay in a condo unit. For example, there was laundry detergent, first aid supplies, liquid soap, coffee filters, salt/pepper, sunscreen, and best of all...beach furniture/ floats/ boogie boards beach chairs, etc....!!! Paul, the owner, came and met us and allowed us to check in as soon as we got there, although it was an hour earlier than we had anticipated. He was so helpful. The huge tv, surround sound, and extravagant deck...made our stay simply delightful!!!! We would definitely stay at this location again.

Great rental BUT NOT ON THE BEACH

The condo is nice, but overpriced. The condo is misrepresented in that it is said to be on the beach. In fact, the condo is ACROSS THE STREET from the beach, NOT ON the beach. We paid the premium In order to be ON the beach. Other similar rentals were far less expensive, as they were honest and reveal that they are across the street. We feel cheated. We hear the cars on the road rather than the waves. Otherwise, the condo is spacious, airy, with a great view. Everything you need for a great vacation is provided. We stayed with our baby and found it all to be very conducive to a quiet and comfortable vacation. Paul is very nice and accommodating.

Beautiful condo close to beach

This condo was just perfect and the owners were so accommodating. Beautiful balcony, well furnished condo with everything you could possibly need plus items you never thought of having. There was even a cart to carry beach items across the street to the fabulous beach. This was our only minus--having to cross the street to the beach and street noise at night instead of gulf sounds. All in all very lovely.

Thank you for the nice review. Our building was completely rehabbed in 2008 and we were able to achieve a number of improvements, but were turned down on moving to the beach side of Beach Road. We lived at Sunset Royale in our two-bedroom/two-bath beachfront penthouse condo that is now part of our rental inventory. When sitting on the open balcony in the afternoon having dinner or just enjoying the view with beverage you will hear vehicles outside, although no noise inside with doors closed.

Couples retreat

Everything was exactly like it was described, the layout of the condo is very spacious and has all the amenities you could want, very clean and the owners paid attention to detail, my favorite part of the condo was the view and the surround sound!it was a nice walk to town but felt it was a bit longer than explained, however once while we were walking, we were offered a free taxi ride to the village! Everything was reasonibly priced as far as restaurants and bars and you can't beat the happy hour! I felt that the bonjour cafe was a bit overrated, but others may enjoy it! The beach and sand was truly spectacular, just like powder! The only negative about the condo is the road noise that can be distracting when sitting on the balcony! Thank you Paul and Nann for sharing your condo with us, we would recommend this unit to anyone, and we wish you much success with your new two bedroom unit in the future, I am sure it is as lovely as the one we stayed in!
