Best place for our family vacation in Siesta Key

This is a beautiful condo with everything anyone needs for a relaxing stay at Cresent Beach. We enjoyed the scenery and the water view of the lagoon. The furnishings are lovely and the neighbors were great. It was quiet and peaceful and we plan to return!

Guestbook

I spent ten very pleasant days at this Midnight Cove condo in early January. It was my first visit, but certainly wont be my last. The condo itself was very spacious, clean, and comfortable with two bathrooms plus TVs in both bedrooms as well as the living room. High marks too to the extremely well equipped kitchen. The grounds are well kept and very attractive, idyllic even, with lots of beautiful trees. And it is quiet, especially where we were, with the condo set well back from, and out of sight of, the street. It is also virtually adjacent to the heated pool as well as the tennis courts (where they hold round robins three times a week), and, even better, only a five-minute walk away from the beach. The beach, of course, is the jewel in the crown, living up to its billing as one of the worlds most beautiful. Just smooth white sand stretching for miles. It packs well too, a sand castle builder s delight. And, I am told, thanks to its quartz composition, it stays cool enough in summer to tread in bare feet. On a more practical note there is a grocery store and a small mall within easy walking distance, as well as a couple of friendly bars and restaurants. All in all, I highly recommend it.

With the pool basically right out the back door and the beach just a short walk away, how could you ask for more? The condo was amazing. It had everything we needed to be comfortable during our stay. And coming in at the end of the day and curling up with a good book with the patio doors open was almost as good as being by the pool. And with almost everything you need within walking distance, everything you could want to enjoy your vacation is right there. Amazing experience, incredible condo, and I am counting down the days till I can go back. Nicole, October 2013, Ontario

If you want a great place to vacation where you can sit back, enjoy the worlds greatest sunsets and everything Siesta Key has to offer, then this is your place. Awesome condo located within walking distance of everything you will need and most importantly, a hop skip and jump to the worlds greatest, most beautiful beach! The fact that the unit came with high speed wi-fi and the unlimited free long distance was a really cool perk too! Loved Siesta Village which has some great restaurants and good night life and the fact that you could shuttle there from the condo was a real bonus! Can not wait to go back! Tom, September 2013, Ontario

We were very pleased with this fresh updated unit and nearby facilities. The short walk to the pool was very convenient for the kids. Wireless internet and the entertainment unit kept us well entertained and at the end of the day, a nice big comfortable bed was very welcome. Look forward to returning again for March break. Bob, Keri and family, August 2013, Ontario

I always love coming to Siesta Key and I had a great time here this summer. I met lots of nice people around the pool and at the basketball hoop. I went for runs on the beach which is easy to get to, with the crosswalk on Midnight Pass Road right in front the private beach access. 611 was a super comfortable place to stay. I really liked the spaciousness. Some Firethorn units feel a bit cramped, but not this one. And I liked the big screen TV in the great room and being able to call home whenever I wanted. I can not wait to come back.Paul, July 2013, France

Frequently Asked Questions

Q:Are there restaurants in walking distance?
A:Yes, there are lots. Captain Curt's is family-friendly and has award winning clam chowder. City Pizza and Anna's Sandwich shop are just a few minutes away and for something a little finer, try Clayton's Siesta Grill.
Q:Are you right on the Gulf of Mexico?
A:No, we're on the Bayside of Siesta Key, overlooking the sparkling waters of the lagoon. There's a crosswalk right in front of the complex and private deeded beach access. We've stayed Gulf Side in one of the tall buildings and found it's actually FASTER to get to the beach walking from our Bayside unit (less than 5 minutes) than it was to wait for the elevator in the Gulfside unit. We find Bayside not only a little quieter, too, with more extensive tropical landscaping, but better value because the cost is less.
Q:What is there to do, other than go to the beach?
A:Plenty! The heated pool is steps away, there are tennis courts and a basketball hoop onsite and the basketball is in the closet. Just down the road, you can rent a kayak, a bicycle or arrange to go deep sea fishing. The Mote Aquarium is fun with kids, as is Myakka State Park. The Marie Selby Botanical Gardens are worth exploring and the Ringling Museum has a fabulous art collection and amazing grounds. There are golf courses for every level of golfer in the vicinity - you could play a different course every day of the week if you wanted. And of course, there is plenty of shopping if treasure hunting is your idea of fun.
