Description of the Siesta Key vacation home rental
Fully furnished in modern decor, this 3000 sq ft newer home has 4 bedrooms, 2.5 baths and boasts a large pool, heated spa, multiple decks, outdoor pool table, outside eating area with grill, outdoor shower and dock with boat lift. We are one of very few homes on a canal with no homes on opposite side of canal looking at you all day !!! Very nice private setting with vacant lot next door also.
Sleeps 12 with a king, queen, queen, twin over full bunk and a 2nd twin over full bunk. Extra large master has large bath with jacuzzi tub, large walk in and an extra sitting room equipped with child gate and baby crib. Fully equipped kitchen has an extra large double oven and gas stove. Formal dining room and breakfast area. Wood floors, carpeted bedrooms and tiled baths. Gas fireplace, 3 TVs, 2 DVD players and stereo. High speed Verizon Fios wireless Internet, TV channels and unlimited US phone service. Laundry room, large garage with extra loft area, 2 bicycles, beach chairs and towels.

FREE TAXI SERVICE
For those that would rather not make the 8 minute walk to beach or 10 minute walk to village, we supply (8 free rides including tip) in a electric cart taxi big enough for 6 persons and chairs to the beach, public beach area, Siesta village or Cresent Beach area. Just call one of these taxis and they will come pick you up in minutes and for tips only !!
Area Information
Is an eight-mile-long barrier island about 50 miles south of Tampa off the west coast of Florida known for its incredible beaches (award winning whitest sand ) and beautiful weather. Siesta Key is home to more than full time and part time residents as well as a wide array of tropical trees, plants, and birds. While all the conveniences of modern life are easily accessible, Siesta Key is still remote enough feel like old Florida. The roads that wind through Siesta Village and the beaches are lined with tropical flowering plants and mature trees. Beach walkers and joggers are accompanied at the water's edge by a variety of birds including sandpipers, gulls, heron, and egret, and often dolphins can be seen playing and feeding just offshore. The expansive beaches are lined with palm trees and tropical plants with lush, green foliage. Siesta Key is a tropical paradise, beautiful year-round.
Siesta Key Community:
Only a limited number of resorts and hotels are located on Siesta Key, so vacationers usually stay in condos and private homes and cottages. Because they live among the residents during their stay, visitors easily become part of the community and are welcomed into the Siesta Key lifestyle. Vacationers quickly relax into the casual, friendly atmosphere and soon feel right at home wherever they go on Siesta Key. Siesta Key Village is an area near the north end of the key where vacationers and residents gather for dancing, dining, shopping, and fun. Each evening offers something exciting and entertaining. There are other shops and restaurants - something for any taste or mood - located all across the key. French, Italian, American, and Oriental restaurants offer delicious cuisine to suit even the most discerning tastes. Crab, lobster, raw oysters, blackened fish and unique local dishes are specialties at many of the waterfront and casual seafood restaurants on Siesta Key. For a little more excitement, try a nightclub with live music, and don't miss the popular Sunday night Siesta Beach drum circle where musicians and dancers are joined by the public in a weekly celebration. Water sports are also a big part of life on Siesta Key, with parasailing, kayaking, boat rentals, guided tours, and fishing available. The city of Sarasota, which is connected to Siesta Key by two bridges, also offers a diverse mix of cultural, natural, scientific, and family fun attractions.

Went with my family...myself, husband and four adult sons for law school graduation celebration....had a great time...house was great...could use more towels and pots and pans were in need of replacement but other than that it was great....

This was a very nice rental property. Not many complaints. Bill the owner is easy to reach and took care of any issues that came up. We would've liked a few more things in the kitchen for cooking and storing food. One more love seat or chair would be great for the living room, as we were short for seating when everyone was there. The location is great to the beach and village. We had 11 in our group and had plenty of room. We hated to live. We would rent this property again!!!!

We had a wonderful time at this house. The big ceilings and rooms give you lots space, not to mention outside. It was a very short walk to the beautiful white sandy beach. We rented 2 kayaks and kept them on the deck by the canal. Nice a quite canals for rowing. We gave my Dad a surpirise party and there was plenty of room for everyone. It was a good time.

Our stay at Siesa Key was very nice! This home is very spacious and is close to the beach and the village. We loved the idea that the owner was local and would be readily available if any problems or questions arose. He was very accommodating to our needs and special requests. We enjoyed the hot tub and the back yard area. The neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful, which made us feel very secure. There was plenty of parking area. Since we go to Siesat Key every year, this is by far the nicest home we've rented. We will definately be renting this home again.!

BEST vacation ever!

My husband and I spent a week here. We absolutely loved this house and the location of it makes it perfect! Bill, the owner was super nice and even allowed us to check in early. The house had everything we needed. We could walk to the beach and to Siesta Village. We did take advantage of the Free Taxi Service after spending the evening at the Daqueri Deck. The pool was lovely, and I really enjoyed having my morning coffee on the balcony outside the bedroom watching tons of wildlife along the canal. the only bad thing I can say is that we had to leave :( We will definately rent this house again.

Very lovely house! quiet and nice neighborhood, the pool and boat deck have an open outlook which is very nice and waliking to the lovely beach in less than 10 minutes was higlhly appreciated! we had plenty of space for our party of 9 and the 4 teenage girls loved their room with bunk beds! the pool is bigger than it seems in the pictures. we had minor issues but bill, the owner was always there to respond to our demands. I would rent this house again without hesitation and would certainly recommend it.

The place was more than we expected, spacious and clean. We had some minor issues but the owner was always available for assistance and that did not stop us from enjoying this wonderful place. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and already planning on our next summer vacation back here.

Pulling up to 202 island circle was only the beginning of our wonderful stay the the beautiful siesta key beach! The house was very lovely and well maintained we could've stood a couple more towels but other than that had everything we needed. The house was clean ! The owner bill was very kind and helped us with any questions that we had! The pool is larger than viewed in picture and very clean also! I would defiantly stay here again my family and I felt like we where right at home!

We arrived at this home on sat June 16 the house is beautifully decorated and had everything you could want in a vacation rental there were a few problems but contacted owner and everything was taken care of immediately. The kitchen was nice and big could use a few newer skillets and spatula s but other than that very nice the walk to the beach was about 10 minutes but not a bad walk at all the owner got us a wagon to haul things down to the beach there are beach towels and beach canopy in the garage which was nice I didn't have to pack I would definitely rent from bill again if he will have us overall I think anyone who rents this home will be very pleased

Once we entered the house, we knew we were at the right place. Everything you needed was in the house and anything you would need to purchase was within walking distance. Even though we had a couple of overcast days, we always could find plenty to do with the pool, the hot tub, the pool table and the dock in the back yard that is on the canal. We had a little bit of technical difficulty with the hot tub, but the owner was more than willing to supervise the repair work. One night we had eight adults staying there and we were never in each others way. My only complaint was that I had to leave. We will definitely give this place another try!

This home is as advertised, spacious and roomy. The loft over the garage is not usable so don't count on that. The owner was very friendly and helped out with a pool issue we had but was corrected early on. The location is ideal with 10 minute walk to the beach and about 15-20 into the village. The place was clean and generally well appointed however the number of bowls and pots for cooking leave a bit to be desired. I would recommend this place to a friend.

The home was a nice style with lots of room for my family of five. We enjoyed the use of the bikes once we put air in the tires of one bike. We enjoyed having the cat around(has been with the house for a long time) and gave the cat a Christmas treat of canned food. We did have a lot of problems with the home. The toilet was plugged upon arrival, we fixed that, the hot tub did not work the whole time we were there(although the owner did have the pool guy come over a few times), the kitchen drain backed up when we put the dishwasher on, the dryer did not work well, the door didn't lock on the main bathroom. We did leave early because of the problems and we were worried about the next thing that might break. I think with a little TLC, this would be a fabulous house because of location. Thank you for letting us enjoy the house while we did.
Owner's reply:
I was informed Spa was not working properly, I came over within the hour and then had repair company respond and fixed Spa by next day. The guests were very nice but were unhappy the pool was not heated also (only the Spa is heated and is not advertised as heated pool). I was not contacted for the other problems stated by guest and in fact had no complaints from following guests. I have however double checked and everything is in perfect working order. The home is fairly new and in very good condition !! I am the owner operator and am always available for any needs and take pride in my rental properties. Thank you

This is the perfect way to spend a week's vacation! The gorgeous home is clean, welcoming, and has all the comforts anyone could want. We enjoyed playing pool, swimming, fishing off the dock, bbqing, going to the beautiful beach, and golfing, as well, as being greeted by the Sweet Ole Cat, who has adopted the property, as we returned home from our daily activities. It was a tad too windy for boating so we hope to include that next time & we also plan to bring friends to share the great times!
