Do you enjoy exploring and seeing new things? Casa Dos Choupos makes an ideal base for exploring the whole of the Algarve, West Coast and even the Alentejo region. We have lots of information, road directions and sight-seeing suggestions at the villa.

Not want to go anywhere? Just want to laze by the pool? With all the comforts of home, you can soak up the sun, enjoy the relaxing atmosphere and de-stress whilst admiring the stunning countryside views.

This beautiful villa is situated in a stunning location in front of a large vineyard. Privacy and exclusive use of pool etc, guaranteed. A 10 min drive from the historic town of Silves and a 10 min drive from the beach and lively resort of Praia Da Rocha. WI-FI internet access. The television has the majority of U.K satellite channels including Sky Sports. The DVD player has a karaoke system which is great entertainment for both children and adults. The swimming pool has Roman Bay steps to facilitate easy access to and from the pool water. Enjoy music whilst swimming or having a BBQ, as there are music speakers hanging outside over the terrace.

Area Description

40 minutes from Faro airport. A car is essential. We can recommend a car hire company based at Faro airport.

The nearest beach is Praia Da Rocha. It is 13km from the villa and is a 10-15 minute drive.

The property is a 5 minute drive from the main Algarve motorway, so most resorts are within a half hours drive away.

10 minutes drive through beautiful countryside to the historic town of Silves with it's cathedral and Moorish castle. 10 minutes drive to Portimao which is excellent for shopping and finding bargains and souvenirs. 20 minutes drive to the town of Monchique nestled in the mountains and Caldas De Monchique which is famed for it's fonts and natural spring water.

Supermarkets, banks and all facilities are available in the local towns a 10 minutes drive away. There is 1 traditional Portugese restaurant/bar a 5-10 minute walk and 2 other bars within 5-15 mins walk.
