Kicking back in Sisal
December 26, 2012
Very relaxing 2 week stay in Senor Ricardo's beach front home. We found everything at the Casa Blanca as advertised. The house was very well equipped and comfortable, the pool was refreshing and well maintained. Ricardo's friend Germaine, and neighbors Vaquero and Finni provided great on site support and we always felt safe and looked after. Sea shell hunting on the beach was amazing and on the door step. The town of Sisal has a very friendly atmosphere, with good dining spots, both street food and sit down service. The tiendas had a ready supply of basics and it was a short collectivo ride to find anything else we wanted. The owner, Ricardo, was a fabulous and accomodating host with a great knowledge of the area. We would recommend this rental to anyone looking to relax and have an authentic Mexican village experience. Muchas gracias!

The house was in good shape, swimming pool great fun and soothing, and neighborhood so very wonderful and real. The full kitchen, comfy beds, beautiful spot is really a gem. Gracias, Ricardo.

My name is Pablo Guerra-Monje, I work as assistant Professor of Theatre Design in the University of Arkansas Fort Smith. My job requires of me a constant evaluation of different spaces, and the house I just spend my vacation worth all my complements. This house posses both the felling of a clear open space with the intimacy of various smaller ambiences. It is located in the sand of the very wide beach, surrounded by palm trees and lower vegetation, between the historic center and the Marine Biology research campus of the University of Merida. The pictures of the add are not very good. The house is like new, My name is Pablo Guerra-Monje, I work as assistant Professor of Theatre Design in the University of Arkansas Fort Smith. Perfect
May 1, 2008
We rented mid-Jan to mid-March, 2008 - and could not have been happier. We loved the house and its location: right on the beach and a five minute stroll into the village. Owner Ricardo has painted a very accurate picture of Sisal. This "undiscovered" fishing coummunity is not for everyone! But if your idea of perfection is no gift shops, no t-shirts, and not many people like yourself around, then go for it. We returned home feeling that we had experienced a very special slice of Mexican life.
