Description of the Sisal vacation home rental
Great, recently built beachfront house, 3 bed rooms, 4 bath rooms, wide living room and kitchen, well equipied, garage for 2 cars.
Master bedroom has a queen size, guests room 1 has 2 twins, guests room 2 has a double bed.
Master bedroom in 2nd floor offers a magnificent view of the golf of Mexico, bathroom with hidromassage.
On first floor is the kitchen, dining room and living room with plenty of space, wide windows allow great view to the beach. Guests rooms are on 1st floor also.
Kitchen is well equipped with fridge, microwave, toaster, oven, hardware, mixer, etc.
Linens and towels are provided, maid service is available for an extra fee.
Sea is about 150 feet from the house
Internet services is provided by Telcel, rate for a month is around 40usd. A usb modem can be borrowed for connection.

What you can expect:
Quiet place for relax and enjoy yourself within an atmosphere of peace and tranquility, birds and sea waves are the only sound you will hear.
Good fresh seafood. Being a fishing village it´s easy to get good food either for cook or already prepared.
Weather is sunny and warm most of the time. In winter temperature is 30C at noon, goes down to 18C early in the morning; humidity is high most of the time. During summer temperature can reach 37C at noon.
Contact with nature- In regard to tourism Sisal is not a spoiled place; you can have close contact with untouched nature, flamingoes, seagulls and many other varieties of birds are abundant.
Grocery shopping. You can get practically everything you may need in local stores.
What not to expect:
Not crowds around, just a few locals from Merida on weekends. High chances are you will be the only one walking on the beach.
Since Sisal is not known by tourists, there aren't structured activities; you do everything on your own.
English is an exotic language here, be ready to practice your spanish or maya language.
Beach in Sisal is white sandy.There is regular bus service between Sisal and Merida.
Sisal is a very safe place, practically there´s not crime in town.

*Life in Sisal - Sisal is located on the occidental coast of the Yucatan State, 53km from Merida, city capital of Yucatan State. Its coordinates are 21° 9'55.22"N 90° 1'54.93"W. Coast extension is 27.5km.
Its main communication road (and the only one) is the one which comes from Merida – Hunucma – Sisal.
Sisal is site of important historic, cultural and natural legacy.
Importance of Sisal is clear. This town limits to the west to State Reserve named “El Palmar”. Since 2003 UNAM opened a campus in Sisal and offers undergraduate and graduate courses oriented to marine studies.
Sisal is a small and calm town; its inhabitants are dedicated to fishing activities and characterized by being warm and kind with visitors.
Anyone coming from the city will appreciate its easy going atmosphere along with its beautiful beach, sand is white and water is green and blue with small or no waves, great for swimming or just enjoy landscape and nature. Watching sunset is a pleasure to enjoy every day.
Nearby Sisal the existence of amazing coral reefs makes it an ideal hub for snorkel or scuba diving. Also boat and fishing tours are good options for fun.
Sisal historic legacy goes back not just to prehispanic times, but its downtown also preserves buildings which are representative of the colonial period such as the Marine Custom Building, the Fort of Santiago also called El Castillo and the Lighthouse.
Emperor´s Carlota Amalia house and cannons decorating its main square are witnesses of the defense of Sisal from Pirates.
“El Cenote” is a natural clear water spring hidden in El Palmar reserve, it is great for swimming as long as the crocodile is not around.
“El Mirador” is a viewpoint facing the Reserve; there are two of them built of wood from which bird watching is fascinating, along with the petrified forest and stunning sunsets.
The Ruins, a few inhabitants know the way towards mayan edifications located within El Palmar Reserve.
Turtle spawning, along to the coast turtles of different varieties such as white, carey and caguama lay their eggs on the sandy beach.
