The surrounding area features great beaches, Del Mar Raceways and Fairgrounds, fabulous restaurants, live music venues, plays, movie theatres, intimate bookstores, streetside cafes. Have a wonderful time shopping in the famous artist district Cedros Avenue. Larger malls are only 15-20 minutes away.

We have several parks that are second to none in the world including the Balboa Park, Quail Gardens, the meditation garden at the Self Realization Fellowship. There are numerous churches within walking distance, including Prespeterian, Catholic and Unitarian to mention a few.
