Description of the Soldotna vacation home rental

Our 2 bedroom vacation rentals are less than 5 minutes from the Kenai River.

Quiet and secluded and located 'up on the hill' in the Skyline Subdivision -yet only 5 minutes from the Kenai River and Soldotna. If you enjoy seeing wildlife right outside your door, then you will be delighted with our location!!!

Our two private 2 bedroom 1 bath vacation rentals are very nicely furnished with local Alaskan artwork, and will sleep 4-6 and have a full eat in kitchen, living room with fireplace, a flat screen TV/VCR, DVD, free movies, private washer/dryer in the 1 car attached garage (perfect for storing your fishing and camping gear!), and an outdoor deck with gas BBQ grill.

There are 2 separate vacation rentals in the Skyline House available for bookings in summer 2009. We enjoy catering to the adventurous travelers who want to see Alaska on their own terms. An extensive library of Alaska nature field guides, maps, and birding books is provided.

Our ecologically friendly vacation rentals are near the Kenai National Wildlife Refuge which is home to over 177 bird species, 30 mammals, and 15 fish species.

All units must be paid in full 30 days prior to arrival. You will receive a computer confirmation with map and receipt with your reservation. Prices above are for payment for cash, check or money order.

I stayed there for a business meeting. The bed was extremely comfortable, and I got a good nights sleep. Squeaky clean kitchen and bathroom. The leather furniture was a nice touch. Love that overstuffed chair! Ed

We really enjoyed staying at the Purdue House!!! There were moose outside the livingroom windows almost every day. This was a nice way to vacation near the Kenai River but NOT be subjected to all the noise from the motorboats on the Kenai river at 5am!! Thank you for being such great hosts! Hope to see you again next year
