Great cozy rental

The cottage rental in Cove Point was exactly what I needed during my stay in Maryland! The cottage is cozy enough for one person, though it can obviously accomodate many more. Everything I needed to be comfortable was there in the rental, and it was a short walk to the beach to collect sharks teeth. The owners were incredibly friendly and pleasant to deal with. Great Family Getaway

My son is at school in DC, and my husband, daughter and I came to visit him from Colorado. We decided to take a road trip to explore the area, so I rented this "cottage" for the weekend. It's a great little house, very welcoming and comfortable. We fell in love with the sunroom, where we spent a good deal of time reading, eating and carving pumpkins. We walked down the lane to the beach and explored in both directions, searching for sharks' teeth and enjoying the incredible weather. It was also an easy drive south to Solomons, where we rented a boat and spent a fun hour on the Patuxent River. There are trails nearby and plenty of activities within easy driving distance. We could happily have spent a few more days wandering around and pretending we had no responsibilities in the outside world. We'd come back in a heartbeat!

The house was exactly what we hoped it would be. It was comfortable and very well equipped. We would definitely stay there again. As soon as we got there we decided to ask for one more night and luckily it was available. The beach is so private, we had it all to ourselves!

My husband rented this cottage for 3 months while we were relocating to MD from WI. The cottage is clean and it has everything you will need. The owner has gone out of his way to accommodate us. Would definitely recommend renting this. Also it is only 2 blocks from the beach!! It is great!!

The cottage was quaint with a large sunporch and deck. It was clean and well kept. We spent many hours on the sunporch, deck and in the large backyard. t dinner time we enjoyed the deer visiting the backyard. It was a short walk to the beach which was convient and the beach was never crowded. We rented the cottage while visiting my son who is stationed at Pax River Navy Base. It was a short commute to the base which was great. The grandchildren got to visit us and had plenty of room outside and at the beach to play. My daughter in law like it so much she is recommending it to other military families who have visiting guest. We probably would stay there again.

Beautiful and comfortable

We stayed for 5 days during an intense heat/humidity spell. The cottage is beautifully appointed and has a relaxed feeling at the same time. The combination of air conditioning, dehumudifier and ceiling fans worked to keep us comfortable. The large sun room at the back of the house was ideal for visiting with family and sharing meals. Kitchen had everything we needed in terms of appliances and utensils. The yard was a plus for the children -- younger and older and the walk to the beach really was short! If we were to visit this part of Maryland again we would definitely contact the owners about a return visit.

Nice getaway

Upon our arrival at the cottage, we immediately decided to stay an additional day. The home is cute and inviting, even nicer in person than the photos can portray. The modern appliances, including the washer and dryer, made our stay that much better. The neighborhood is lovely, the neighbors are kind and you can hear the waves from the Chesapeake Bay inside the home if you open the windows. After surveying the area, this home is one of the nicest rentals around. Should I return to the area for another stay, I would gladly rent this home again.

We were very pleased with this lovely rental. Comfortably decorated and clean, the house had all the necessities we could have needed. Beautifully bright enclosed sunroom perfect for relaxing with a good read. Just a short walk to a beach loaded with beachcombing finds. Owner is pleasant to deal with and we had no complaints whatsoever. Would happily stay again.

Owner very accomodating and eager to make our anniversary weekend stay memorable. Private and quiet. So enjoyed the sunroom. The weekend was so relaxing. Hopefully can stay again when the weather is better and can enjoy the beach.
