Description of the Sonoma vacation cottage rental

A fully restored historic cottage, 2 bedrooms and futon for extra guests. 1/2 mile from Sonoma's famous 'Plaza'. Set back from the road, very quiet and shaded. Private parking (up to 4 cars), beautifully landscaped yards and BBQ area, nestled against a year-round creek. Take your coffee and watch the sun rise from the large rear deck or sip from a complimentary bottle of a local favorite and watch the sun set from the front deck.
All new kitchen with stainless steel oven, stovetop, refrigerator, microwave oven and dishwasher. Enjoy the greenhouse window, vaulted ceilings and Casa Blanca fans. Open living room with hardwood floors throughout. Bathroom has shower and full tub, basic toiletries, hair dryer, plush towels and bed linens are provided. Laundry room is spacious and has washer, dryer, and sink. There is cable TV, internet access, local phone, heat and air.

Area Description

The town of Sonoma is blessed with beautiful surroundings and is rich in history: The Last Calfornia Mission, The Barracks, General Vallejo's Home, award wining restaurants, bakeries, cheese factories, cafes, spas, shops, museums, gourmet markets and is home to one of the country's two Nascar Road Courses. With some 250 + wineries in the area, Sonoma boasts some of the oldest and most popular wineries.
This is a private home setting, houses near by so quiet and respectful is a must.
San Francisco, The Pacfic Ocean, Napa (for more wineries)The State's Capitol are all within a short drive.
