One bedroom guest house in olive grove at back of 2.5 acre estate. New construction in 2010.
On dead-end roads across from 100 acre vineyard at base of western hills of Sonoma Valley. Hill views to the west of Sonoma Mountain plus long views to Mount Diablo to the south. Nice area for walks with wild turkey and deer and quail abounding.
Guest house is custom designed and built with travertine floors, gas fireplace, radiant floor heat, a/c, full bath with shower, covered parking, washer/dryer, wine fridge, dishwasher, microwave, queen bed with TempurPedic type mattress, sleeper sofa.
Large patio on south side of house. Nine foot sliding glass doors, and fully landscaped, paved driveway with privacy access gate.
Property is very private with its own dedicated driveway.
House is 10 minutes from Sonoma Square and convenient to all Sonoma Valley and Carneros wineries.

West of town on dead-end Fowler Creek Road. 10 minutes drive to Sonoma square with shops and restaurants. 7 minute drive to grocery stores - Lucky, Safeway, Whole foods, Sonoma Market.

This area feels very rural yet is only 10 minutes from the Sonoma Square. 20 minutes from Infineon Raceway.

The house is on the south side of Carriger Creek and can only be reached from Fowler Creek Road.

About one hour to Pacific Ocean, Russian River, Alexander Valley, Healdsburg - all in Sonoma County.

There probably 300 wineries in Sonoma County which includes all the many appellations outside Sonoma Valley.
Some of my favorites close by in Sonoma Valley are Sebastiani, Ravenswood, Viansa, Cline, Jacuzzi, Gundlach Bundschu, Gloria Ferrer, B.R. Cohn, Benziger Family Winery, Chateau St. Jean.
Still more famous award winning wineries and tasting rooms are available in Napa Valley which is just a short fun drive over the mountains to the east on Trinity Road. There be sure to visit some of these - Beringer, V Sattui, Beaulieu, Cakebread, Chateau Montelena, Domaine Carneros, Robert Mondavi, Rubicon.

Also plan to visit the Jack London house in Glen Ellen, and a real European castle built in Calistoga in Napa Valley - Castello di Amorosa.
