Description of the Sosua vacation home rental

This spacious, airy and fully furnished villa of approx 1400 sq ft (±130 sq m) is located on a large lot in one of best designed gated communities in Sosúa (Residencial Hispaniola). It is fully secured and situated on a hill with ocean views and refreshing breezes, less than a 10 minute walk to the town of Sosúa where you'll find Sosua Bay beach, super market, shops, cafés and the night-life. Puerto Plata International airport is only a 10 minute drive. With the town so close, transportation is not an issue, walking is easy and there are many cabs available or you could arrange to rent a car.

The villa has a large fully equiped kitchen with a formal dining area that seats 6 - 8 and a sit up bar for quick meals. You can relax in the living room and enjoy cable TV or DVD movies on the 37inch LCD TV with stereo speakers, which are ipod friendly. If you bring your laptop, wireless internet is also at your service.

The master bedroom has a king size bed, walk-in closet, an ensuite bathroom with double sinks and large shower. The main bathroom has a full shower and tub and a single vanity. The two other bedrooms have comfy queen sized beds.

A delightful feature of this home is the way the sundeck off the kitchen wraps around the house to the private covered patio (off the living room) that overlooks the lovely pool and garden area in the back yard. This is truly where you'll spend most of your time. The breathtaking ocean views can easily be enjoyed from both the sundeck and pool area. For easy access from the pool area, there is an outside toilet and sink in the pump house so you don't have to go in the main house when you're wet.

Sosúa has become a desirable location for those seeking the relaxation of the Caribbean lifestyle but without the expense. It is easily accessed by air from Canada, USA and Europe. Today its Spanish roots are complimented with an international flavor offering many superb restaurants, bars, casinos and dancing clubs. Sosúa has great beaches for swimming, scuba diving, snorkelling and is in close proximity to the excellent wind surfing beaches of Cabarete. For golfers, two great courses are nearby; Playa Dorada and Playa Grande provide great fun for all levels.

• Deposits: Security Deposit of $400 USD via paypal is required to secure your reservation(non-refundable). Damage Deposits & Electricity Deposits are due upon arrival in US cash. Remainder of Rent is to be paid in full ONE MONTH prior to arrival date via wired funds or paypal(service charges to be paid by customer).
   
• Other Fees: Damage Deposit of $200 US cash - to be refunded upon departure providing no damage occurs. Electricity is NOT included for monthly rentals...$100 Electricity Deposit is required upon arrival, then bills will be issued monthly. For weekly rentals electricity is included.
