Description of the South Fork vacation home rental
Beautiful, 2000-square-foot, log home offers views of La Lomita Mountain tops & the Sangre De Cristo Mountain Range. Views of the Rio Grande River just outside the front door.
3 Themed Bedrooms:
* The Master bedroom "Moose Lodge" Tastefully decorated in a Moose Theme, is the only bedroom located on the main floor, for ultimate privacy. It offers a New King Size Log bed with Pillowtop Plush Mattress and amazing views of the mountain tops through the French door that open onto a 680 square foot private deck. Deck has a sunken 7-person hot tub, a 5-person dry sauna, BBQ Grill Table, BBQ Grill and Bistro Set.
* The 2nd bedroom: "Fisherman's Cove" is located on the second floor in the front of the home & has spectacular views of the Rio Grande River & La Lomita Mountain Tops. Open the windows in the evenings to hear the river flow. This room has a toddler bed, a Travel Crib as well as 2-Queen-size beds, its perfect for an entire family.
* The 3rd bedroom: "Bear Den" is located at the back of the home on the second floor & offers views of the mountain tops. This is the kid's favorite room; they call it the "Teddy Bear" Room. It offers 2-Log Queen Beds. This room has an oversized closet and dresser.
* Also located on the second floor is the game room. Complete with a 7' pool table, foosball table, air hockey, darts, Ping-Pong table, shuffleboard, checkers, Backgammon and much, much more. There are additional "kid-size" tables of each of the same games for the children to play while the adults enjoy their own game. Nintendo with games, coloring books & crayons, as well as a full toy chest and board games (both adult & young children). The game room has its own TV and VCR with expanded satellite service. There are over 250 VHS videos included for your use.
*Enjoy luxury during your stay with plush hotel quality bath robes (two in each bathroom) hung on towel warmers for those cold morning or nights after Skiing, Hot Tubbing or hanging out in the Dry Sauna.
The living area boasts a gas log-burning fireplace with a suede sectional sofa including a Queen-Size Sleeper sofa bed & 2-pull out recliner chairs to lounge in after a long day. It is perfect for viewing movies, or just relaxing.
The back deck has a private, 7-person hot tub, with a BBQ grill table perfect for making s'mores with the family, a Gas BBQ Grill (propane NOT included), 3-benches, a Bistro table & chairs and NEW IN 2006....A 5-PERSON DRY SAUNA W/STEREO CD PLAYER. The back yard has an oversized swing set just for the kids to play on while you relax in the Hot Tub or Sauna and horse shoe pit!
Everything you need during your vacation is provided! Laundry soap, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, shampoo, conditioner, hand cream, toothpaste & bar soaps. We have thought of everything so you don't have to, just bring your clothes and move right in!
What to do after skiing' We can keep you AND the kids busy with 5-bicycles (various sizes), Frisbees, Fishing Poles, Horseshoe pit, Basketball Hoop, & Ball,. How could you go wrong with all this!!!

We enjoyed our stay in your cabin. Everything was really nice, and we enjoyed it very much. Thanks for the extra day! We will try to take advantage of that maybe next summer. We noted that we did not use the sauna on our comments, just passing that along. The fishing was great! Let us know if you think about selling your property.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Antlers Home. There were six adults and two toddlers, and it fit us very well. The swingset and toys were a great help. We enjoyed the hot tub, and the satellite TV in the evenings. We fished in the daytime, and did quite well at Shaw Lake and the Rio Grande Reservoir. We enjoyed our stay at Antler's Lodge very much. The house was wonderful, the location was quite, and the scenery was beautiful. The fishing in area lakes wasn't great, but the vacation was well needed and enjoyed. There were 12 of us, 9 adults and 3 kids and all of us thoroughly enjoyed our vacation there.

We had a very nice time while in Southfork at Antler's Lodge. The lodge is beautiful and the view out the front window is very serene as we looked upon the hillside covered with snow. We are definitely interested in future stays at the lodge.

We planned a summer time family reunion at Antler's Lodge. Sixteen of us spent a week at this beautiful property with plenty to do for the eight kids ages 3-12 and for the adults. The house was extremely clean, welcoming and well equipped. It was in a great location with easy access to southern Colorado's beautiful sights. I would visit there again without question.

Great location for adventures in Southern Colorado. Went down for Fall colors, visited Pagosa Springs and Creed. Lots of great hiking and fishing nearby. The house itself is loaded. If we'd been snowbound the entire weekend, we couldn't have gotten bored; there are board games, a pool table, Nintendo, and satellite TV. The kitchen has everything you need, and all of the bedrooms are beautifully decorated.
Great stay. A highly recommended getaway.

Our family of 3 boys and one little newborn baby girl stayed at teh Antlers Lodge for 3 days, and had one of the best weekends ever. Not only was the house clean and accomodating, it was fun for all of us. There was plenty for us to do and the neighbors were really friendly as well, we will definately and be back and recommend it to our family and friends.

I had relatives visiting from Pennsylvania and I am a resident of Colorado Springs. We wanted to take our guests down to southern Colorado so they could see the beautiful scenery. We stayed at the house in South Fork and had a wonderful time. The house was beautifully furnished and had all the amenties of home.
