Four Bedroom,Private Lake Michigan Beach Access

Welcome to "PINEAPPLE GROVE". Desirable location between South Haven and Saugatuck. Our neighborhood community of Glenn Haven Shores enjoys gated access to our own private beach, Sunset Park (Lakefront spot on bluff with two benches that's perfect for watching the sunset), and association tennis court. Enjoy 1600 feet of private beach access with no stairs. Just a brisk 5 minute walk or about a 1 minute drive to the Lake Michigan coastline and wonderful memories. The beautiful sandy beach offers shady free parking right at the beach area. This is one of the few drive down private beaches in the South Haven to Saugatuck area. Most Lake Michigan beach access points have many steep stairs and you will have to carry all your beach gear and yourself up and down. In the parking area, there is a foot wash, and in the summer season there is a portable toilet at the beach parking area. Campfires are allowed on the south side of the beach.

Recently renovated, this lovely home will accommodate 2-14 persons. This is the perfect family vacation retreat. You'll feel like you've found "a home away from home". Home has lots of natural sunlight beaming in. Floor plan has different gathering/conversation areas while providing some separation for a larger family or group. This vacation home is very clean and includes central air conditioning which is a must for Michigan summers! The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to prepare meals. The dining room has seating for ten at the amish-made harvest table, and also includes a large couch for more casual seating. The large adjoining kitchen will accommodate an additional four diners, and offers easy access to a small deck, and a large patio, and the backyard (seating outside for 14). Enjoy morning coffee and sunrises on the patio. Each of the three main level bedrooms will accommodate 2 persons each. One bedroom has a walk-in closet. These three bedrooms share the main level full bathroom with tub/shower. There are two queens and one full bed upstairs. One of the bedrooms has a 19" television with DVD player. The fourth bedroom is in the lower level and is very large and easily accommodates two full size beds; it also offers a 19" television with a DVD player. This room has private access to the lower level full bathroom with tub/shower. The large recreation room is also located in the lower level; this room includes an awesome fireplace, a 32" television with cable/satellite TV, DVD player, a full component stereo system with turntable, plus a daybed/trundle (two twins). There is also a very comfy hide-a-bed by flexsteel in the rec room. A generous selection of movies and records are available for your use. Bring your own linens for beds and baths. Kitchen linens are provided. Washer & Dryer provided for your personal use.

The lovely backyard has a picnic table, large patio with comfortable seating for 14. It is the perfect yard for the children to play, a family barbecue, or a nice casual visit with family and friends. This is the yard you have always dreamed of. A charcoal grill is provided for your use. The backyard also has a fire pit for smores, hot dogs, and roasting marsh mellows. Enjoy making fabulous memories for your 2012 family vacation.

Located 5 minutes from Downtown South Haven and 10 minutes from Saugatuck. The most desirable location in the area. Earl's Berry Farm is just a few minutes away to enjoy picking whatever fruit is in season, fresh vegetable market, bakery & ice cream.

Two golf courses are very close by: Hawk's Head & South Haven Country Club.

South Haven is known for its' art fairs and outdoor concerts all summer long. Outstanding fireworks celebrating the Fourth of July are presently scheduled for July 3, 2013. Harbor Festival is June 20-23, 2013, Waterfront Film Fest is also June 20-23, 2013. Blueberry Festival is August 8-11, 2013, and All Crafts Fair is Labor Day weekend August 31 and September 1, 2013. Other fun activities: Ice skating rink open in the winter (Downtown South Haven), Movie Theater in South Haven, boutiques, Kal-Haven Trail famous for biking and hiking, golfing, Kids Corner Play Ground, chartered fishing trips, sail on Friends Good Will or other cruise tours, Michigan Maritime Museum, wineries, craft shows. Famous Cranes Pie Pantry is only minutes away. "Sunset Junque" is less than a mile away and offers many unique items for sale for the avid treasure hunter.

Saugatuck is just 10 minutes away and the activities are endless: Rent a canoe or kayak, charter a sailboat, ride "The Duck", or take a dune buggy ride at Saugatuck Dunes, antiquing, gorgeous and famous Oval Beach, micro breweries, art galleries, boutiques, craft shows. Saugatuck Center of the Arts featuring many musicals and plays.

The quaint town of Glenn, aka the "Pancake Town" is just a mile away offering: The Glenn Store (convenience store with everything you could possibly want from beer, wine, high end liquors, deli, pizza, grocery), antique shop, hardware store, and a restaurant.

The Dutch Market is right around the corner supplying locals with fresh fruits and vegetables, bakery, ice cream, eggs, milk & cheese, plus many more specialty items.
