perfect retreat!

February 23, 2015

We had a great stay at this wonderful waterfront cottage while we attended a wedding in the area. It is perfectly decorated with a beachy, nautical flare! The cottage was impeccably clean with everything you need for a wonderful vacation. The beach is just down the road, and the cottage is close to some great restaurants!

A beautiful tranquil retreat

February 22, 2015

The house is clean, comfortable and well equipped. We had a great time digging for clams out in front of the house, going to the beach which is an easy walk or bike ride and visiting the Matunuck Oyster Bar next door. The house is convenient to a lot of attractions along the coast but also feels like a private little corner of the coast. It has a great quiet little deck where we watched the sunset as it faces west. This house was a good value and the furnishings were a cut above what we have seen in other beach houses. Close to the ocean and fronting the salt pond, we had a front row seat to an endless array of birds and beautiful vistas. We would definitely rent this place again.

A: There is so much to do right in front of the house! After a day of waterfront and beach activities, relax out of the sun for a while on the half covered deck and then dine out next door at the Matunuck Oyster Bar or across the street at Capn' Jack's and follow that with a visit to the ice cream spot across the street also. . There is a marina across the street and seaside villages close by to explore as well as great bands and dancing, mini golf and shopping and more 10 min away.
